  1. Bearing in mind the 1.4 factor was introduced to try to have all riders on an equivalent 2016 Premier League average, so the new SCBP and SCBC would be closer together in abilities, then I think every current rider's 'real' average after 4Home/4Away meetings should be what it is for both leagues. eg if Tungate finishes on 4.00 then that should be the average whether he moves to another SCBP team or to the SCBC.
  2. According to the Rye House website they've had a new delivery of shale for Monday!!! Maybe Gerald can 'borrow' some when he makes his way back to Poole in the week?!
  3. Does anyone know if the current Swindon stadium runs at a profit with just greyhounds and anything else non-speedway?! Just asking.
  4. Starkey's not the only rider scoring well in the SGBC but not doing so well in the SGBP!!
  5. Surely if Rebals are going to get a new number 1 then they should act while Tungate's Average is still 9.03. When it drops to 4. something, why would the 1.4 factor be applied if he got a chance in the SGBChampionship??
  6. Should keep the dust down on Sunday then!!! Those greyhounds can cause a helluva breeze as they whiz round!! lol
  7. Didn't seem to put him off at Coventry in 2015 - you know on the Sky meeting that was curtailed at heat 10 with Watt (8+1) and Holder (6) out on the track ready to race, but the Bees refusing to send any riders out!!!! lol ;-)
  8. Too much shale for the Darcy meeting (just ask Doyley)!! Not enough since. Can't win really, although most of the Poole boys and several away riders seem to adjust their set-ups to do ok. Morris had his best ever score at WR on Good Friday's daytime meeting when guesting despite blowing his engine(s).
  9. The plan for flats published by Poole Council shows an identified area close to the main Wimborne Road currently occupied by a derelict office block. It extends into the part of the lorry park to the left of the main service approach road and car park entrance. The rest of the car park area will only be affected if the footprint of the actual stadium is altered. There is currently no existing plan to do this. The only suggested plan for the stadium was floated by local developer Eddie Mitchell 3 years ago when he was trying to get Poole Town FC back into the stadium - THIS IS NOT HAPPENING EITHER. As for parking, the school next to the stadium is regularly used for additional parking.
  10. Just to confirm despite what it states in the Speedway Star, this meeting DOES commence at 6pm!! There are 2 references in the Star - one says 7.30pm and the other 5pm???!!
  11. According to his Polish club he can 'still be called upon in an emergency'!!??
  12. He's been brought out of his induced coma and is now awake!
  13. ...and there are some very odd number 1s!!!! :-)
  14. Or done what Klindt has done and swapped his qualifier with another rider - Rasmus Jensen - so he can ride for his Premiership team on Monday!! I guess its all about priorities.
  15. The Poole Echo is reporting this morning that Klindt and Shanes will remain at reserve at least until mid-June, as their 4th home meeting is not til 7th June; with KK also remaining at Number 1.
  16. Driving then walking on water!!! ;-) ;-) ps, Best of luck in your retirement Davey Watt.
  17. Good luck Davey - a pleasure to watch at his best and great in the pits with the youngsters.
  18. Well if you believe some on facebook, Vaculik will never ride regularly in the UK because he has a phobia of flying!!?
  19. Fellow Poole assets helping one another. Well done Charles. :-)
  20. Apologies, you are correct. I was looking at the wrong advert!!
  21. But Swindon didn't appeal it!! Rosco was quite happy for Kurtz to race and said so publicly. My issue is that a rider and/or a promotion is out of pocket - if only for travelling expenses - because the authorities didn't act quickly enough!!
  22. With the line-ups for the 2 British semi-finals announced today, does that mean that Rory Schlein counts as one of Wolves Brits?! ;-)
  23. Surely the point is not the time of the day but why it took til raceday to confirm/announce the ruling when the team line-up inc. Kurtz, was advised 72 hours previously??!
  24. Hougaard's GSA after 3 meetings is 8.53 compared to his starting assessed CMA 8.70. The team total is currently 37.88 according to the BSPA list.
