KK's doctors have said 4 weeks! KK says he'll be back sooner. After Wednesday Poole have virtually 3 weeks off til the Bank Holiday Monday at Wolves, when only BV and KL are not racing - plenty of suitable guest options there!!

Shamek is already doing 3 leagues. KK's doctors say he's out for 4 weeks - KK says he'll be back sooner than that. Poole have no meetings after Rye on Wednesday until Wolves away on 29th and then Leicester away on 3rd June. KK's only ridden 1 Home/3 Away league meetings so its a long time before he gets a new average. Plenty of time to consider all the options.

Couldn't have Holder anyway - his average is too high even to guest!! That's why he was left out of the 1-7 in the first place!! (Well one of the reasons anyway!! )

What multipliers?? All riders will have 'real' averages after 4H/4A meetings, unless a team wants to redeclare before riders have done 4H/4A when the BSPA will give riders a revised assessed CMA, based upon their scores so far this season. That's why current CMA's are updated and shown on the BSPA website.

Hopefully Freddie Lindgren can guest on Wednesday - if not then I would think Cook, Morris or Bjerre would come into consideration -, then plenty of time to sort any longer term options out til Poole's next meeting on 29th.

Can't remember the last time Pirates lost consecutive home league meetings so with the weather forecast suggesting a warm dry day and therefore a slick, dusty track, I'm going for a 49-41 Pirates win.

Re Kerr covering for Newman - it is a MINIMUM 28 day deal!! Kerr first rode on 5th April. I don't think it really matters whether Lewis or Kyle rides on Wednesday 10th as Poole's next meeting is not til 29th!! Having said that I think it would be better for Kyle to return in a home meeting!!

I think KK will ride on Wednesday - there's no real (dis)advantage one way or another as I doubt any potential replacement could be agreed and available in time. Wednesday (10/05) is Poole's last home meeting for almost 4 weeks and KK won't have done his 4H/4A meetings to reduce his average until late June - even if he stays.

There is no way Poole will keep both Kyle and Louis!! BTW, haven't seen it anywhere else so a Poole v Swindon thread seems appropriate - Happy Birthday Darcy!!

Did my eyes deceive me but did only Middlo and 5 of the Poole team do the track walk last night??!

Just got back in from that Pirates debacle. Well done to the Robins - I've already congratulated Rosco personally - they adapted to the track conditions far far better than Poole and also brought their gating gloves. Poole were dire in the first half of the meeting, when the damage was done, including giving KK the T/r in heat 6 but the Pirates then came back and won the final 8 heats 30 - 18, as the track dried out. Same track for both teams so again -WELL DONE SWINDON ROBINS!!

Its fine and sunny at the moment (approx 5 miles east of the stadium) there have been some showers but the latest weather charts show the big swirl of rain off the south/south west coast has gone further south than first predicted. Still the chance of a slight shower later but all good at the moment.

Its been quite heavy rain overnight but seems to have dried and cleared first thing this morning. Keep a watch on the weather and all forecasts people!!

The problem being that the 'top 2' haven't been scoring like the top 2 have they?!

The Torun score is more to do with the performance of Walasek and the 2 reserves - 4 points between them so far!!!
