FFS is this still rumbling on?? The track last Wednesday was a distinct improvement on previous weeks with no or very very little dust until late in the meeting. I would think that anyone choosing to stand on any bend at any track is highly likely to get 'shaled' from as early as heat 1 whether the track is dry/wet or has lots/not much shale. Of course its their choice to stand/sit where they choose but if its really that bad then go sit/stand somewhere else along with all the others who sit/stand in the same place who clearly think the same??! or not. -
Kacper top scores with 11+2 in Gdansk's away win today!! Still worth a place in any non-weekend British club!!
-
All riders had an assessed or 'manufactured' average for 2017 based on last season's scores and race format depending which league they raced in. Hence 4H/4A under this year's race format being the point at which new 'actual' 2017 CMAs are created.
-
So Coventry could just about afford 3 or 4 of them then?! ;-) (joke!!)
-
One of the BSPA rules states that if a club wants to redeclare their 1-7, any rider that hasn't done their 4H/4A meetings can have their CMA reassessed by the BSPA MC, based on scores to date!! That is presumably why current rider averages are shown on the BSPA website. Well he wouldn't be in the same team would he?
-
The Gomolski/Garrity change is as much to do with future fixture availability as it is about recent performance, I feel!!
-
Piles of it with a copper's offspring possibly??!
-
Good to see and hear the progress!!

Its not just at Poole though is it? Complaints about the amount/type of shale are rife at Kings Lynn, Somerset, Rye House........ -

ooh I haven't had a jump on my post for quite a while!! :-) -
Just going back to any potential changes in Poole's line-up, as far as Shanes is concerned lets not forget that each team has to retain at least 2 British riders that rode or are qualified to ride in the NL!!
-
I think Kerr may be heading south westwards!!!
-
A little surprised there has been no mention of Munkebo's demise?!
-
....and in which heat!!!! Oh...oooppss! ps. Great to hear that Ellis Perks is not as badly injured as first thought. No breaks but bad bruising etc. Hoping to be back for the Somerset meeting on 19th May.

One poster giving his interpretation of some of MF's comments in the programme notes! Hardly a crowd demo is it?! Bearing in mind those programme notes were written soon after the home defeat by Swindon its no surprise Matt felt the team to be only just above average. 2nd in the Premiership will do me come September (or maybe July 31st?! ) Incidentally the Polish Extraleague rule allows riders to ride in up to 2 other leagues- one of which has to be the rider's domestic league, so I can't see Milik giving up on the Czech fixtures any time soon!! That's why I suggested Sweden would have to be dropped if UK became an option.
-
You must be reading something on the Poole forum that I can't see!! No reference to big changes by Matt or any of the posters - in fact Matt has stated that he's going to stick with KK and is confident he'll get it together!! I would suggest that the 2 riders referred to by Matt are Milik and a.n.other not affected by Poland's 3 league rules. After all maybe its not totally out of the realms of possibility that riders could drop Sweden - especially if they are not being paid as promised. Wasn't it Indianerna that NKI, Antonio and Freddie had all sorts of financial issues with last year?! Alternatively with Munkebo (Felstead?) in the Danish league going bust yesterday, other riders may be freed up?! (Hans is now out of a Danish league team)

Very sad. Only met him once when we used to travel up to Blunsdon on Saturday nights. Nice guy. R.I.P.

I have to agree with SS on this - there was noticeably less dust last night than in previous weeks!! As to why little water was put down during the meeting then you need to 'blame' the riders!! They do not like the track to be heavily watered once racing has commenced because it mucks up their set-ups and can be even more dangerous. As to Rye, I was interested - almost astounded - at reading the team manager comments on the RH website this morning. OK Scotty admitted to choosing the wrong engine?! But the apology over getting the T/R wrong was all about using Wells rather than Harris in heat 10!! No mention of why he didn't use Bomber in heat 7, which most fans near me had already pencilled into their scoresheet - a 1-5 could so easily been a 1-8!! -
Why on earth would Poole get rid of Shanes??? He's made a couple of changes to his set-up and is now scoring more than is expected of him. Everything he says and does is about pleasing the crowd - a great asset to have and something so many other riders could learn from!!

The reference to Milik was taken from Matt Ford's programme notes 'Matt's Mandate' which stated:- "I can tell you we have been in touch with Vaclav Milik. I would welcome him back at any point he feels he is able to commit because I think he has become a quite excellent rider and would love to work with him again. At this point he cannot commit to the uk but that may change sooner rather than later!" As for the meeting Morris rode very well at number 1(!) and made a good pairing with Jack Holder. His d/q in heat 13 was as a result of his 2nd official warning!! Morris mentioned when interviewed that "it had taken him 5 years to learn the Poole track, and now he enjoyed coming here!!" -

There's nothing in today's Echo quoting MF as saying anything of the sort. The only reference to the line-ups is the alphabetical order - which obviously shows Andersen first!!! -

Correct. Morris at 1; Hans as usual at 5. The only clarification re the riding order is whether Kyle slots in at 3 or 4. I would think 3 (as Kerr) leaving Brady to continue successfully at 4. What news??? Please provide the link or reference. Poole have not redeclared so the original averages still apply. If current averages are applied then Brady would be at 1.
