  1. Didn't Adams sign Skornicki?! Incidentally KK was 5th in last season's Elite League averages behind Doyle, Holder, Iversen and Jonsson but ahead of the likes of Zagar and Lindgren, so once it was decided that Holder couldn't sensibly be fitted in, the Vaculik/Bjerre option had fallen by the wayside and the new Polish rules became apparent, then KK (a Poole asset after all) was a reluctant but understandable next option.
  2. I have it on excellent authority that TR was on £180 per point in the latter stages of his Poole stint - plus the usual other stuff!!! BTW not sure what all the current conjecture is for KK?? He will start practicing again next week (he will not be available for Poole's 2 away meetings next week) and MF has stated he will give KK the chance to find his form again BUT expects him to start scoring as a number 1 very quickly or risk the consequences by the end of June.
  3. You do come out with a load of tosh at times Poolebolton!!"!! :-)
  4. Yes my bad. It was originally proposed as 2 Brits and then changed to the NL reference.
  5. I'd forgotten about DN. and I clearly didn't witness that incident. There are plenty of others that may well have done similar!!
  6. Although Tungate is still listed as 9.03 as the replaced rider on the BSPA list, I believe I'm right in saying that he has completed the required 4 home/4 away meetings and should therefore now qualify as a 5.09 rider. I guess he could only be signed on 5.09 by a club that has completed their 4 home/4 away meetings?! Even building to 42 points he would be a reasonable 2nd string or even reserve for most clubs - as long as the clubs retain their 2 Brits!!
  7. One of the issues with BB is that he has baggage - and many riders have long memories. Maybe best suited to a team with no Aussies?!
  8. I think your opening line says it all really. In addition Nicolai is in the SEC Challenge in Croatia tonight in what looks like a very strong field. He needs to finish in the top 7. EDITED UPDATE: Nicolai qualifies in 3rd place behind Shamek Pawlicki and Kenny Bjerre!! Holder's U.21 semi-final postponed til Sunday (today) ...and Middlo's been celebrating an anniversary down in Marbella.
  9. Surely its more about who is prepared to pay Horton whatever price he may be asking for the Promoter licence - especially if NL level speedway is the only option?! Or is Horton's licence only applicable for running Premiership speedway?!
  10. I make it 15 and 3 but who's counting? - at least all 3 in the SGBP will get paid!!
  11. I know that - which means he couldn't drop the Czech League as its his domestic league. ps. Is there a link for the Milik broken leg news? I've missed that today!!
  12. I thought the Polish Extraleague ruling was a max of 2 other leagues - one of which must be the rider's domestic league?!
  13. KK has only ridden 4 SGBP meetings (1H/3A) so depending on when he is fit to return he will probably retain his starting 11.08 average until the end of June!! If MF replaces more than just KK then that is a re-declaration which must come under the 42 point limit once the team have done 4H/4A (7/06 home v Wolves) which won't come into effect til 21st June anyway. Plenty of time to sort out options.
  14. I never thought I'd ever write this but.........Go on Gav replay to my post.
  15. FFS is this still rumbling on?? The track last Wednesday was a distinct improvement on previous weeks with no or very very little dust until late in the meeting. I would think that anyone choosing to stand on any bend at any track is highly likely to get 'shaled' from as early as heat 1 whether the track is dry/wet or has lots/not much shale. Of course its their choice to stand/sit where they choose but if its really that bad then go sit/stand somewhere else along with all the others who sit/stand in the same place who clearly think the same??! or not.
  16. Kacper top scores with 11+2 in Gdansk's away win today!! Still worth a place in any non-weekend British club!!
  17. All riders had an assessed or 'manufactured' average for 2017 based on last season's scores and race format depending which league they raced in. Hence 4H/4A under this year's race format being the point at which new 'actual' 2017 CMAs are created.
  18. So Coventry could just about afford 3 or 4 of them then?! ;-) (joke!!)
  19. One of the BSPA rules states that if a club wants to redeclare their 1-7, any rider that hasn't done their 4H/4A meetings can have their CMA reassessed by the BSPA MC, based on scores to date!! That is presumably why current rider averages are shown on the BSPA website. Well he wouldn't be in the same team would he?
  20. The Gomolski/Garrity change is as much to do with future fixture availability as it is about recent performance, I feel!!
  21. Piles of it with a copper's offspring possibly??!
  22. Its not just at Poole though is it? Complaints about the amount/type of shale are rife at Kings Lynn, Somerset, Rye House........
