  1. Richie Worrall in for Brady as injury cover on a 28 day contract.
  2. Poole's website says Klindt's riding (whether he'll be racing or not remains to be seen!). Maybe Matt needs to see for himself as he was away for the last home meeting so didn't personally witness what we all saw - unless he's watched the Re-Run dvd!!! Nicolai certainly didn't ride for Krakow in the Polish meeting that Brady was injured in - not sure if he's been dropped? He has a Swedish meeting tomorrow for Indianerna on his calendar so will be interesting to see if he rides there.
  3. Looking forward to Chris Holder's return - if only to see how he handles the '$#1t' track that he hates so much - as the Stars 3rd heat leader! The Stars on paper should have the edge over the Pirates on this one. Not sure that r/r for Brady will yield too much with riders that are either not race fit or are still carrying injuries. Still, I'll be taking my usual place and look forward to a decent meeting. ps & NB. KK, Klindt and now Brady all injured on the 'superbly well prepared tracks' in Poland.
  4. Availability shouldn't be a problem now he's been dropped by Torun.
  5. I'm sure that Zengi could be convinced to 'withhold his services', so a guest for him but only if its r/r for Klindt? Or r/r for Zengi allowing Hans an extra ride and a guest for Klindt upto 6.30 at home/6.00 away. ;-)
  6. No matter what the thread, Gav just can't resist can he?
  7. Its a 'minimum' 28 day facility Steve0. Do try to keep up. ;-) ;-) ps. Middlo now suggesting a 28 day injury replacement for Brady - calls going out to Europe as we speak.
  8. Are you sure Steve0. Most people on here are convinced KK never rides well anywhere. Poole's official 1-7 effective 10/07/17 still has Zengi in as 3rd heat leader, so Matt would only be working within the rules as usual!!! ;-)
  9. Andy Mitchell, former Echo Sports reporter was the first to break the news. He is now freelance and works with Nigel Pearson and does both the Ipswich and Poole programmes amongst others so Gavan probably follows him on twitter. Looks like a broken rib for Brady in a heat 1 crash at Pila. As long as there's no other internal injuries, he's young so a week out, strap him up and he'll be back asap. :-)
  10. Or they can sign a 28-day replacement! Or they can defer KK's return and retain the 1-7 with Kurtz at 1 thereby allowing a decent guest upto 9.20 and use r/r for Zengota OR a guest for Zengota upto 8.00 and r/r for Klindt?
  11. Expect confirmation and/or an announcement by 1930 hours this evening - ie 72 hours before Wednesday's meeting!! Although Klindt is not riding in today's Polish fixture for Krakow - which was in his fixture calendar on his website!!
  12. Lets hope there's some rigorous 'random' testing done in Poland today!!! ;-)
  13. As I've said previously its no good Nicolai declaring himself 'fit to ride', if that's all he's going to do. He needs to be able to race and score at least 6 points a meeting.
  14. So I wonder if Barker will have recovered from his 'illness' that stopped him guesting for Panthers at Glasgow??
  15. I'm sure Adam's dad can say for himself on here. I do find it a little strange that many Robins fans are calling for a change to strengthen their 1-7 - which is quite normal - and yet MF is 'ruthless' and 'quick to discard riders' when trying to do the same thing!? Very strange.. ;-)
  16. My reading and understanding of the 2017 rules are that unless Chuganov has ridden regularly in the top leagues in Poland, Sweden or Denmark (and I don't know if he has?) then he is assessed as 5.00 as a newcomer to the UK?!
  17. Same as that female tennis player!! BTW, the young Chuganov looks worth a try, on tonight's SWC performance.
  18. The only reason there is talk of replacing Klindt is because of his injuries. Its no good turning up to just ride, if you can't race and score the sort of points that your average suggests should be achieveable in at least every home meeting!! With the new averages, r/r for Klindt would only give Holder, Starke and Shanes the extra rides, and with still some uncertainty over what KK will score, that leaves us too weak for the run-in, without some changes - imo!
  19. I would imagine Hans has been sounding out several of the Danish, Swedish, Polish riders in the Danish league!! The potential issues there being clashes of Wednesday night fixtures. Other options, Wozniak, Walasek, THJ, Woryna,
  20. SGBP averages effective Monday 10th July - Brady Kurtz 8.76 Hans Andersen 8.31 Jack Holder 6.11 Nicolai Klindt 6.00 Paul Starke 4.83 James Shanes 2.35 KK 9.23 GZ 7.79
  21. New averages are on BSPA website this morning - effective Monday 10th July.
  22. One of the more immediate challenges MF has is if Klindt returns and only scores like he did against Belle Vue (or in the SEC for that matter), then his average will drop further before the cut-off (July 28th, effective 31st), which will make it even more difficult to get a replacement that fits the average. Those mid-July meetings are home and away against Kings Lynn and Wolves before we host Somerset on 26th July
  23. Fixture update - Belle Vue v Poole switched from Friday 28th July to Monday 31st July!! BT meeting??
