  1. If the meeting has been confirmed for Monday 17th July, then we may not see whether Zengota is good, bad or indifferent at Monmore this season.
  2. There's a post on one of the speedway groups on facebook that reckons the Wolves v Poole result was 49-43 according to some national newspaper sports pages!!
  3. But what's the point of knowing?? Zorro and Dak have both either retired or quit! Bjarne has said he will not race UK again - although he has many good Poole sponsors and could probably be talked around by MF if required. Adrian Gomolski ??? I have an idea that Piotr Protasiewicz is also an asset - part of a swap deal involving the Drymls I think or was it Sullivan, I forget now - but so what?
  4. I do hope your university course work doesn't contain as many errors as your list?! You don't do yourself many favours with posts like this!!
  5. As reported elsewhere its the World U21 Team Championship semi finals on Saturday in Pocking (Germany) and Esbjerg (Denmark) featuring 8 countries in total. Team Australia and Team GB are drawn in the Pocking semi, so it could mean Bates, Kurtz and Holder are all missing if selected?!
  6. Poole have managed to get something from each of their away league meetings so far, so I shall be more than happy if we pick up a point!! Hopefully new Poole asset Nicolai can pick up a hatful and we may even get more than that!?
  7. Well he managed 7 points at Monmore just over a month ago!!
  8. Surely Tungate is still on 9.03 and Starke on 6.62 so how's that gonna work?!
  9. Not quite sure what this post means? Poole website states Jack is riding for Peterborough on Monday as that fixture has priority over the rearranged Wolves v Poole date. There is nothing official on the Panthers website other than confirming that Jack was fit to race at Glasgow yesterday had it not been rained off. Ha ha. Nice one SS. Brady, Kyle, Nicolai and James can take Jack's r/r rides although Kyle's not reached his best form yet after injury. Kyle scoring 16 from reserve in last season's format is totally different to his current performances due to the injury - but we live in hope. As far as what we can expect from Zengota (Ass Av. 10.91) I guess it depends on what equipment he's managed to get together so quickly.
  10. Hardly going to sign anyone who has a Polish contract!!!
  11. Steve see my post on the meeting thread. If Jack is fit he will ride for Peterborough on Monday as the Wolves fixture is rearranged. So its r/r at Monmore anyway. ps. Wait til you see the line-ups for the Leicester meeting on Saturday 3rd June!!!!!!!! World U21 Team Championships are on that weekend.
  12. Poole on Monday: Zengota; r/r Holder;Newman; Kurtz; Andersen; Klindt; Shanes. Holder if fit will ride for Peterborough on Monday as the Wolves v Poole fixture has been rearranged ie brought forward one week from the original June 5th date.
  13. Just reading the Panthers report - and speaking to him this morning!!
  14. Unlike the following week v Poole (3rd June) when both teams are likely to be missing riders depending who is selected for the World U21 Team Championships?!
  15. hahahahaha. Post of the day so far. Oops its still early!!!!!!!!
  16. Just to be accurate taken off by Riss in his 2nd ride in heat 5 and has injured his knee. Feeling very 'second hand' this morning but will make a late decision on tonight's meeting at Glasgow. Where does it say Peterborough are letting him go - particularly having now signed Bomber on 9.27 in place of Hansen?!
  17. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  18. Well at least he'll be there and be able to give one!!
  19. Teams of 5 this time around - including a reserve that can be used at any time!!
  20. So much for the theory that today's riders and machinery prefer a slicker track!!!
  21. He's not doing it in the Pairs tonight - Monster have come last!!!
  22. I think as far as 2018 is concerned we'll all have to see what the Polish rules dictate and what points and format the SGBP is working to before Magic or anyone else is seriously considered, no matter how far in advance MF tries to plan his teams - always assuming MF is still going to be involved??!! Its the same sort of 28 day contract that saw Kerr replace Newman - with the choice of either at the end of the 28 days subject to fitness. The difference being that Newman had the opportunity to prove his race fitness for Ipswich whereas KK hasn't got a team anywhere as far as I can make out. KK is still injured and recovering from his operation last week. He's also missing from the Euro Pairs tonight but will begin to practice again next week - presumably on his own unless he can get back into the Gorzow 1-7?! KK's only done 4 meetings for Poole (1 home/3 away) so presumably his 11.08 average will remain until the 4 home/4 away meetings are done (or not)!
  23. KK 'hasn't been sacked'!! He is being given the chance to re-estabilish himself during the 4 week period - although quite how he can prove his race fitness and scoring potential when he's been dropped by both Poole and Gorzow beats me!! ;-)
