Sounds as though you've found the ideal place to conceal any food or drink prior to being searched!! -

Such a surprise this morning to see so many posters from different clubs agreeing with Matt Ford's pleas to have a higher team building average!! :-) -

Where on earth do you get that figure from SCB? The 'old' main grandstand has a H&S limit of 1200 (it holds more '1400', but H&S rules!!). plus the standing room at the front which can be 4 or 5 deep for the whole length of the home straight stand. The 'newer' glass restaurant/bar stand with 3 levels can take approx 1000 (300 in the actual restaurant) and the 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th bends can all take 6-8 deep at least. The official declared attendance for the World Cup in 2004 was 7,131, of which 2,200 were in the temporary seating brought in especially. -

To be honest, when I first heard that Lions had signed Kyle Newman (5.26), I assumed it was to replace Garrity (6.00)?! -
The main reason Doyley has improved to the level he has is down to the successful surgery on his shoulder which he kept putting off whilst at Poole - plus he has a much more settled private life!! Poole never had the full benefit of him during his tenure due to the recurring injury. and some of his off-track antics (which are quite common amongst youngsters of his age)!! Doyley was upset at continually being 'overshadowed' by Ward and Holder, and ended up voicing his opinion somewhat too publicly, hence the swap with Janowski which at the time was seen as good business and suited both riders and clubs. Anyway not sure what any of that has to do with Poole 2017??!

Havent seen anyone having to give up any food or drink at the main Grandstand entrance!! Some bottles have been opened and the contents 'sniffed' but then given back to the fan. Not sure if thats the same at the other entrance into the restaurant stand as I never go in that way?! -

Oh don't you start C4G!! As for Monday Nicolai is due to practice in Denmark today and is 'hopeful' (although very worried) about returning to race on Monday. Worst case scenario is that he starts but can't complete the meeting. Would prefer that he gives Monday a miss and we use r/r for his new average of 6.36. The track will be fine if its anything like Wednesday v Leicester - which considering the heatwave was unexpectedly (by me) a briliant race track. ps. the security searches are being carried out on the instruction of the County Police - so I assume its the same around the country. Its not just bags, jackets and pockets its also a full body scan with the electronic beeper scanners. -

7 x 3-3; 3 x 4-2; 3 x 5-1; 1 x 1-5; 1 x 3-5; plenty of decent racing with particularly Riss and King finding the track eminently suitable in heat 15!! -

Klindt's 'real' average from his 3H/5A meetings as a reserve is 6.70. He's been given a new average of 6.36 which I can only presume takes account of his next anticipated home meeting score as a 2nd string whilst carrying an injury?! -

With the reduced admission prices including kids free, a big (ger) crowd is expected. All newcomers and many regulars should be prepared for the long queues while pockets and bags are emptied and searched!! -
Yawn. My week's holiday - chosen not enforced - was such a welcome break, but now back to reality!!!
-
Zengi is/was on a minimum 28 day cover for KK. He's been given a 'new' average - effective 23/6/17 - of 7.79, which would see him drop to Poole's 3rd heat leader spot on Monday's TV meeting - whether that sees him score more readily we shall see?! KK was last night rumoured to be returning in July on his revised average of 9.23 which would see the team reshuffled again with KK replacing Brady at 1

Kyle Newman is the permanent replacement for Ayres for the Lions -
Nicolai has advised via social media that he hopes to be fit for Monday's TV meeting. If he isn't then it'll be r/r as he's now in the 2-5 with the new averages, with Paul Starke at reserve and Brady Kurtz at 1. ...and BV tracking new signing Rohan Tungate in place of the sacked Sedgeman (I bet theres been an absolute outcry amongst Aces fans - although maybe not!!)
-
Also Starke was voted the meeting sponsors' Rider of the Night' tonight!! Ideal for his confidence before he slots in at reserve from Monday!!

Well Starkey will be at reserve on Monday with Nic hoping to return on Monday in the 1-5. Going by the new averages on the BSPA site Brady will be Number 1 and probably Nic at 2; Zengi at 3; Jack at 4 and Hans staying at 5. Pure speculation on my part....! -

To put a 'new' signing at 2 to partner a number 1 who is still not sure of the track or set-up would be crazy in my view. Until Friday at least, GZ must be at 1 with the other 2 heat leaders and both 2nd Strings riding anywhere 2-5. Come Monday if all riders had done their 4H and 4A meetings (which they haven't yet) then the riding order would almost certainly be different. Lets see. -

I hope all the Poole fans in attendance this evening give a good supportive welcome (back) to Paul Starke! None of whats gone on or said in the past 10 days or so is down to him so he deserves full Pirate support - as do the rest of the team!! ps. with all the anticipated dry dust this evening, for those not able to see or recognise Starkey and who don't wish to move away from Bends 1-2, he'll be wearing the Number 3 race jacket apparently!! -
New Averages For 42 Point Limit
SteveLyric2 replied to DunRobin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How can you have more than one team building points limit?? How can you have riders with impossible to achieve assessed starting averages? How....? Shall I go on? It'll suit some riders/clubs more than others depending on how the riders/team are doing!! -
Its hardly the Polish riders' fault is it!! Having said that any Saturday team signing a Pole is taking a bigger risk......!!

New Averages For 42 Point Limit
SteveLyric2 replied to DunRobin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The BSPA had their meeting yesterday (Monday) which is why so many attended the British Final!!!! New averages are effective this Friday (23/06/17) I understand. Riders that have not yet completed 4H/4A will remain on their starting average - unless their team/promoter wishes to redeclare.. In that case I imagine that the BSPA will use a formula based on the average of the actual scores in meetings each rider has ridden and the starting average!! Obviously any redeclaration must then fit within 42 points although I assume like-for-like single replacements will still be allowed.
