  1. Lambert continued til he got eliminated in the 2nd semi final at Posnan so I would see no reason why he wouldn't ride at Leicester? - unless he's hurt his wrist again or was it his thumb??
  2. Next round isn't til September I believe!?
  3. Really?! I'm sure the AGM can still introduce some sort of 'factor' to further 'equalise' the top 2 leagues!! That might depend on how one-sided the promotion/relegation 'battle' is - or not!!? If they are sensible and don't weaken the sport even further then I can see Magic back at Poole.
  4. So Brady struggling in the U.21s today on a rutted track after torrential rain and then bright sunny conditions. Loads of crashes, loads of replacement air fence panels - and anyone suggesting Woryna (or Wureigno according to Sam Ermolenko) then they need to get him to stay on the bike. When interviewed, Brady reckoned to be out for another 2 weeks - at least!!
  5. Brady has been having oxygen chamber treatment for his rib injury and will ride with it heavily strapped. Keeping fingers crossed for him.
  6. I actually think that Kelvin has improved considerably this season and for me is clearly the senior of the two!! He also doesn't keep mentioning Woffinden at every opportunity.
  7. Woffy also said he would 'guarantee' a World Championship win within 4-5 years (I think he said 4-5, it might've been 45?!). I presume that would be with the same group of riders that we have currently?!
  8. Oooh, I'm gonna save this post and re-post it when the time comes!!!!!
  9. Wrong thread FB - this should be on the Poole 2018 thread!!
  10. Depending what CH says in his post GP statement on the issue, I guess he could be deemed as withholding his services at the end of the 28-day ban, which would at least see KL have a facility for him (r/r) for their remaining meetings. That would effectively see the end of CH's 2017 British season.
  11. KK is available now - oh no wait his average is too high to replace CH. What a shame, he only needs one more 'home' meeting to get a new average of around 5.5. It'll be difficult for anyone to be able to take the risk with his 9.23 average now higher than everyone's except Doyley from Monday - unless its part of a more than one re-declaration?!
  12. Blame Steve0 - he apparently goes to sleep with Poole changes on his mind!! Probably dreams of EK and KK too!
  13. Eddie won't be a 2nd string he'll be 3rd heat leader whether Brady has returned or not! No way will that work with averages as they are!! Can't see any more changes now, but I was wrong about Eddie so who knows?!
  14. Clearly you care sufficiently to spot the thread, come onto it and pass comment!! Please don't spoil it Steve0 you're having such a good couple of weeks!!!
  15. So this 'dreadful' Poole 2017 side who have now got rid of a non-(low)scoring Number 1 and have now got a rider that is always keen to ride, are still sitting in a 4th place play-off position. Ok we may end up 5th if KL get themselves sorted, but such is life. There are clearly some cracks appearing at Wolves and Belle Vue - however temporary - so who knows what might happen. We will not end up 6th, 7th or 8th so whats not to like? Onwards and upwards (hopefully)
  16. Yes in hindsight he should have come out, had an e/f in one then a slide off like Batch and damaged his thumbnail!! Think how much better his average would be?
  17. Aah our 70th Anniversary year!! Who will be celebrating? Who will be riding? Who will be promoting? Who will be managing? Answers to many of these questions and more will be available in November 2017! lol
  18. Well that's stunned me to be honest but happy for Eddie and some decent home meetings to look forward to. So assuming Brady is back for Wednesday the 1-7 riding order should be something like 1. Kurtz 8.76 2. Holder 6.20 3. Kennett 6.82 4. Lahti 5.45 5. Andersen 8.35 6. Starke 5.31 7. Shanes 2.55 If Brady not back yet then: 1. Hans 2. Timo 3. Richie 4. Jack 5. Eddie 6. Paul 7. James
  19. A single change like for like. Perks has a lower average than Riss so ok. Your latest 1-7 line-up had more than 2 changes so constituted a re-declaration which has to fit within 42 points Poole's current 1-7 inc both KK and Brady (back for Worrall) totals 45.85 from Monday.
  20. Lets not forget that any redeclaration has to fit within 42 points!! Eddie Kennett's away form has been absolutely awful this year (3. something average) so a big risk on 6.82 imo. Milik's Czech fixtures would have to be finished if he is to be considered plus he would need to be on a 3.87 average to fit in Gater1's line-up!!! How about sacking KK but 'keeping' KK on his 9.23 average by saying he's withholding his services and then use horses for courses guests. Any rider would be eligible for home meetings and anyone bar Doyle for away meetings. Chris Holder will want to get into the play-offs somehow - as he won't be doing it with Torun - so if not in the P/Os with KL then he could guest for Poole!! ;-)
  21. I imagine Chris will want to do his best to get into the play-offs either with KL or as a guest(?), as he won't have that chance in Poland!!
  22. Maybe its a rider who has been out injured and is due back imminently and will want as many meetings as possible to regain form?! Maybe that's what has delayed the inevitable change?!
  23. Someone jumped on it pretty quick in the first place!!
