IMO (and based on what I heard from the office on Wednesday) there is no way Nicholls will end up at Poole. Harris on 6.86 could replace any of the top five and Poole would still stay under the 42.50 team limit. Given the choice would Bomber want to displace his Glasgow team mate giving Poole the added risk of losing another track man!!??

If Bomber was being considered as a replacement for Vissing then his average is a tad too high and would take the Rebels over the team points limit. The alternative would be to replace Lawson with Harris OR make more than one change and redeclare under 42.50

Announced by MF and agreed 100% by/with Chris Van Stratten. As for the Speedy Star article MF has been considering his and the club's future for the past couple of years so it'll be interesting to see how things develop - moreso as to who might be willing to take the club over at MF's asking price?!

Have to agree with Shovie's assessment of the Cook performance. If Cookie hadn't jumped straight up and gesticulated like the pantomime villain (at the crowd or his bike - I'm not sure which?) then he would undoubtedly have got the round of applause as he walked back to the pits in the same way that Drozdz did twice when coming to grief. Not many BV fans there last night but a few cheers when Kacper went down too - not from any Poole fans.

Have a go at his posts by all means - but personal insults are against forum rules and could result in a 'holiday' if reported!? There are several that 'do the club no favours' and one or two of them might actually be Poole fans!!

The lack of fixture continuity should appease some of the new home owners as there won't be any noise disturbance as frequently!!

So we do see Scotty Nicholls at Wimborne Road on Wednesday ---- as he guests for BV's Rohan Tungate who has a commitment in Denmark (?) as has Poole's Nicolai Klindt for whom Nico Covatti guests. BV also confirm they operate r/r for Garrity.

I've never suggested that there wasn't competiton for his signature - just pleased that a young rider shows a bit of loyalty to the club who first invited him over after Bjarne Pedersen first recommended him to Matt Ford!!

Jacobsen has been on Poole's radar since the end of the 2016 season when he rode in Poole's Blue Riband. He was still doing his studies at that time and refused the opportunity of a place in 2017. He attended Poole's P&P in March this year (staying with Matt Ford)and was in the Anniversary meeting line-up (which was rained off). His studies have now finished and he contacted Poole (rather than BV and Somerset contacting him) for a team place.

They have 'walked' the league so far -- certainly their gating has been at walking pace!!
