  1. Its well known that Lambert is carrying a knee injury which makes the knee swell up after too much pressure on it - thats why he didn't ride in the 2nd meeting last week and why his races tend to tail off towards the end of a meeting. Buster has stated he has riders in place!!! Barker is missing for Rye House due to a fixture for Redcar.
  2. I have to say I felt a bit sorry for the KL riders and fans last night. They did try hard - that was obvious especially in the first half of the meeting - but the Poole team continued with their Jekyll and Hyde season by really turning it on when they needed to. Just to clarify my earlier comment about Jack Holder's 'dizzy spells', I have now listened to the post-meeting interviews again and what he actually said was 'he was feeling a bit sick and just felt a bit dizzy going into bend 3 in heat 1'. He did ok for the rest of the meeting.
  3. Yes! ps. So good to catch up with THJ again last night.
  4. Its being reported that Lambert is only riding in the first meeting v Poole and will not ride v Rye House. I hope Buster has got a decent guest or I'm sure Poole will protest!! Rye House missing Barker.
  5. Holder was ill tonight!! In the post-meeting interviews he said he was sick and felt a bit dizzy, which is what caused him to nearly take out Brady in heat 1
  6. Where have I said NO to all the 5 pointers?? Where have I said that the rider isn't riding in this country? All I said to you was to re-think (maybe reconsider was a better word) your earlier options. Of course when I also said the answer was YES to 2 of your questions - that didn't rule out the same answer also applying to more of those same questions?!
  7. Bewley is a big loss for the Aces and Lasse Bjerre is no substitute for Worrall!! Whilst watching the anticipated demolition at Wimborne Road (although a wet and claggy track may favour the Stars), I'll be keeping an eye on Updates!!
  8. There are apparently 2 big articles in the Speedy Star this coming week - by Chapman and Van Stratten. Should make for interesting reading!!
  9. Very true. Not Klindt though, even though he wants to be back.
  10. All those named above are currently employed this season and still riding for their respective clubs so it would be both unfair and somewhat disrespectful to name any names - even assuming the rider is one of those above??!!
  11. Chris has got to get a visa yet!!!! Not sure a visa can be issued when a rider is banned or hasn't got a job!!!!!?? I don't think any club can sign a banned rider?!
  12. So with all 8 SGB Premiership clubs having fixtures on Friday 1st September, I presume there will be a few gaps in their team line-ups, with riders having to get to Rybnik by Saturday morning. Aussie Jack Holder already announced as missing from Poole at Somerset.
  13. Good to hear that Chris Holder will be in the Poole pits this evening for what could well be our final home league meeting of the season . Oh to be a fly on the wall!! I bet there could be some interesting conversations.
  14. Lets not get ahead of ourselves!! There are other options - maybe somewhat surprising to many!!!?
  15. Yet another 5-0 at Rye House last night - not just Poole's Aussies that crash out then?!
  16. Lets just hope that Lasse and his bikes have recovered sufficiently to guest for BV tonight!! Or is it Charles Wright now?!
  17. Rye House are clearly the form team for the 4th place at the moment. I have to say I think a Rye House v Wolves semi-final or final will be an absolute cracker over two legs!! ps. anyone know how Morris is after the big crash in Sweden last night?
  18. I think thats already sorted - subject to the final points limit!! But then you know Matt always has at least 3 alternative team line-ups!! Nope!!
  19. Updated: As I 'm in a good mood tonight I'll give you a 2nd clue - The answer to 2 of your questions is YES!!
  20. Not sure we'll miss Paul too much tomorrow - with no disrespect to him, he's just knackered with so many meetings, guest bookings and a new baby in the family, quite apart from his fall at RH yesterday!! Jack, Timo and James can take his rides. The biggest issue will be the weather. Although I reckon MF will delay any decision til the last minute as I can't see any other available dates for a restaging, looking at Poole's and KL's commitments and Poole Stadium availability - unless Weds 6th is within the cut-off period?!
