  1. Its become a bit of a tradition for Plymouth. Vote for the lowest possible team building points limit and then complain about not getting a no.1!!! (Waits for Lewy response................!!)😇
  2. Ivacic dropping from 6.00(ass) to 4.00 at reserve hasn't helped.
  3. It's an increase for Glasgow!! 37.15 from today!!
  4. Maybe Starke again at reserve? The options are fewer with the September averages and riders who may have already guested elsewhere in the competition.
  5. Only since you've appeared!! School finished early??ðŸĪŠ
  6. Its not just about choosing another racenight. Some clubs are restricted by Stadium landlords and other activities eg greyhounds, other motorsports!!! How would Ipswich and Sheffield fare for example?
  7. Oh good. I missed that announcement. Great news for Mr Tolley.
  8. Why is this on the Poole 2025 thread? Poole don't want to be in PL in 2025. They run CL because it is cost-effective (their only income is from admission sales, sponsors and adverts) as they don't own their stadium but still attract very decent crowds on their preferred racenights.
  9. Brummies might not be running next year if the dogs go from Perry Barr.
  10. Oh good. I'll frame that for future reference.
  11. I don't think I know! Apparently I'm not supposed to think I know! Why don't you check with who you know to see if anything I've said is known or agreed by others. Simples.😇😜 Ps. What do you think you know about Poole 2025, as this is the thread topic?!
  12. Jealousy is such an ugly trait, it can drive you to distraction, when you should really keep your eyes on the road, and your ear to the ground.😜
  13. It's not what you know. It's who you know.😝
  14. Poole staying Championship if Dan Ford's comments to the crowd at yesterday's Lawson Testimonial are anything to go by. I would think Birmingham would prefer Championship but currently they are restricted to Monday racing. And possibly they may not run at all if the dogs move away from Perry Barr. Possibly King's Lynn would prefer Championship after recent seasons experience.
  15. All promoters know what the team building options are and what has been discussed so far. I've heard everything from 36 to 40 points so it'll all come down to the AGM vote. The BSPL/Phil Morris plan for this 2024 season was to create more of a gap between Prem and Champ leagues. Not sure that has actually happened aside from a few 'big name' riders in the Prem - some successful, some clearly not! So will he attempt to make the gap even greater? If so let's hope its by increasing the team limit in the Prem rather than reducing it for Championship teams!! Assuming of course that all clubs can afford the options.
  16. Which racenight would you prefer? Mondays or Thursdays? Poole are staying Championship in 2025 as announced at Sundays Lawson Contract signing, so who will replace Brummies if the Perry Barr greyhounds move away - as has been stated?! Maybe Oxford will run 2 teams in the Premiership.......................!!ðŸĪĢ
  17. Even assuming the team building points limit stays at 38 points (and that remains in some doubt according to some rumours), Poole will have to lose nearly 9 points off their current team average!! With Lawson already signed on around 9.4 ish (Brit 2.5% reduction), then that leaves a mere 28.5 points left for 6 riders - assuming we stay with 7 rider teams?!!!!
  18. May be maybe not! Either way it doesn't help the team building for start of season.
  19. Pirates simply want a home fixture ASAP as other clubs play catch-up with their rearrangements in League, Cup and BSN.(Poole's last home fixture Weds 21st August - next one Weds 11/09/2024 earliest) Seems like those clubs that get their fixtures done (and won) by the cut-off are the ones that are penalised!! Just saying..........!
