Would be really good if CH was back for the Swindon meeting rather than the 'Birthday Bash' v Yarmouth!!
-
Not even a Poole fan that started the thread - just another wanting to get a dig in.
-
Strangely, many Poole fans on a Poole thread are interested - aside from it being the reason why Middlo would have missed the Leicester meeting yesterday (previously announced but not everyone sees the Echo) its also about Scott Autrey who rode 2 seasons for the Pirates.
-
Not sure its been solely about his passport either!!!

Leicester v Poole SGB Premiership A. 9/4/18

Szczepaniak is a real gater unlike Kyle, so as long as he doesn't fall off Mateusz could be a trump card - BUT I still feel its a home win!! -

I might comment more favourably if those were the actual match-ups - but they're not, so I still reckon its a home banker. -

So Mateusz at 7 for our first away meeting - so much better to be able to switch the reserves around. And now we know part of Chris Holder's problems are to do with a passport, -
I like it!

Honestly, this has 'home win' written all over it!! -
The thing about the Stadium's location is that it can be relatively dry even if its hissing down in the nearby suberbs. Equally the reverse can also be true. So we'll just have to rely on those actually there to make the judgement.

To be fair Matt stuck to his words from mid-season that he would be replacing up to 5 riders - and he's done exactly that for this season.
-
But there's no mention in the rules!!!!! Fair enough if it was discussed at the AGM - but you'll be telling me next that every promoter attended every AGM session?! BTW I didn't think CVS attended the AGM due to his illness/treatment!

Poole V Wolves SGB PREM A. 4th April 2018
SteveLyric2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Latest Met Office forecast is for a dry day on Tuesday with gusty winds, followed on Wednesday by a combination of sunshine and occasional showers until mid afternoon and then clear through the evening. Should be good Poole line-up Brady; Kacper; Josh; Linus; Kildemand; Mateusz and James. -
Which 'former promoter' are you referring to? If its Gordon Pairman then he is a current co-promoter who also serves on the Speedway Control Bureau - so I guess he should know the truth!!
-
Can you point me in the direction of where this appears officially in the 2018 rules please!?
-
Excellent read this week. Having been away last week I've got 2 issues to get through as my alternative to the rained off Good Friday meetings!! :-) Just emailed my confirmation of the Star Subs Membership too!!

Prem admission price list 2018.
SteveLyric2 replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm not surprised there are no 'standardised' admission prices, as each club will have its own distinct costs, not least depending on whether they own or rent their stadia and what other revenue comes to them rather than to the stadium owners?! -
Interesting dilemma for Chris on Saturday. He's been announced as attending the Poole Anniversary Gala Dinner at AFC Bournemouth as well as being in the Monster team for the Euro pairs at Torun?!

Rosco in his post meeting interview on You-tube reckons a 2-minute clock would cost around £1300 - 'insignificant in the overall scheme of things'!!
