All Poole updates state "National Development League Riders Championship", (with race format as stipulated by SCB). Riders' names have been published, so personally I don't see any issue! People will attend....or not! Should be a decent meeting but then nobody can guarantee that - as with any other speedway!!

If the host promotion is taking the financial risk (rather than it being a 'shared' event) then they will promote it to maximum effect whichever way helps to ensure no financial loss. Whether the meeting is 'one off' or 'first of a series', it will still provide the same racing and a winner on the night!

So everything is closing at Blunsdon! Does that.mean the GI head office is also moving? To Poole Stadium maybe? $#!t

Why should there be reductions/discounts for a 'top' Championship meeting when the abandonment was for a Premiership fixture? Just asking.........

Well Poole managed 44 points in the BSN Series fixture with Hagon only scoring 6 points and the Cook Bros only getting 8 points between them!! So Wednesday should be a tight one again. Maybe a Cheetahs fan will start the meeting thread!!?

As the Poole announcement states, they were hoping to host either the BSN series semi-final or the KO Cup meeting on 26th but neither opponents would play ball!!

In the National League section of this forum there is a debate going on as to whether this meeting is a 'one-off Grand Final' as Poole have announced or whether its the first round of a Series for NDL riders - with other rounds scheduled for Edinburgh, Leicester etc. later in the season?

Max Perry will probably get a chance too! Maybe even Vinnie Foord as one of the wild cards (he was certainly 'wild' at Poole's last home meeting)!!

Looks likely to be the Battle of the Championship reserves!!

Oh what joy!!??!! 30% more expensive and having to race on Mons/Thurs?? No chance - unless there are changes eg if it ever becomes just one league then clubs will insist on racing on their chosen race day!!

Worky may want to delay even longer after Zischke's big crash in Poland today.

Surely the Council's view about retaining the stadium site for Leisure etc, might only change if any alternative site was found within the Swindon Council boundaries.
