  1. Poole 'limped in' to 4th place a few seasons ago and ended up winning the play-offs! In the reverse situation they've also previously been top most of the season and ended up losing in the play-offs!!
  2. Thats correct. Bomber's is now 6.90 but achieved after the August 23rd cut-off for September so can now only be affected by the scores v Wolves on Wednesday and the score 21 meetings ago that drops out of the calculation and becomes effective on 1st October. If there is little change then I can see the Poole 1-5 riding order from the play off semifinal on 1st October being Bomber; Kacper; Brady; Josh; Nicolai. Whether that makes any difference we shall have to see.
  3. I'm not mechanically minded but apparantly Richie rides a 'long stroke' engine rather than a 'short stroke' one! Maybe its not the size/shape of the track that is the issue but mainly down to track prep. When interviewed after the Bank Holiday afternoon meeting he said he prefers a lot more grip rather than - as everyone witnessed - a very understandably slick track bearing in mind the amount of rain that fell the day before.
  4. Thats exactly the point!! Bomber's consistency and experience at 1 will be no worse than Brady's but Brady should be a much more consistent high scorer at 3,4 or 5
  5. Stadia UK have a greyhound cart on standby to transport any spare shale down south!!
  6. As it seems the likely top 2 will be Kings Lynn and Somerset, does it really matter who gets to choose oppnoents as it seems cut and dried who both would pick.
  7. The updated rolling GSA's show Bomber 0.10 above Brady so subject to the final qualifying meeting v Wolves on Wednesday, Bomber could be at 1 for the 2nd leg of the semi-final on 1st October as well as for the final if we get there. Relieving Brady of the Number 1 position will do wonders for his 'its all in his head' issues and will undoubtedly work to Poole's advantage, notwithstanding the reserves staying as per the September GSAs. Just my opinion
  8. All promoters know what has been discussed and proposed for 2019 so anyone NOT planning accordingly will only suffer the consequences!!
  9. Yes but taking last night as the 'return' fixture that would give Poole the edge on aggregate.
  10. Those dates aren't even all Mondays!!! The dates are as follows: Monday 17th September - 1st semi-final 1st leg Monday 24th September - 2nd semi-final 1st leg Monday 1st October - both semi finals 2nd legs Monday 8th October - Final 1st leg Wednesday 10th October - Final 2nd leg
  11. First opportunity to come on here after last night's thumping. Well done to the Stars who will now finish top; Somerset 2nd; Poole 3rd and BV 4th imo. Just picking up on averages and the suggestion that there may be some manipulation going on......... whilst next season's averages will surely be in the minds of some, ,lets not forget that from October 1st another revised set of averages come into being. Bearing in mind October 1st is the date of the play-off semi final second legs, with the final scheduled for 8th and 10th October, there could still be changes in some teams' riding order?! For example for Poole this could see Chris Harris at 1 and Brady Kurtz at 3, 4 or 5 which may well be a considerable advantage compared to the current line-up?
  12. Esbjerg website clearly states they have let NKI ride in UK as the Danish fixture has no real effect on their league position. With Klindt definitely in Denmark for Holsted, surel a question still remains aboiut MPT?
  13. Nicolai definitely in Denmark tonight so r/r will operate. The Stars to win and finish top without question. They will then choose BV, leaving Poole to fight it out again with Somerset. Doyley is on record as saying that Somerset would choose Poole anyway, given the choice so maybe there is a bit of overconfidence building in the Somerset ranks with Poole's 1-7 not having performed well all at once so far.
  14. The guys have been working frantically with the readymix so the track should be without that rut/hole for the next home meeting and the play-offs. Unfortunately there will now be a bump which might deter some from sticking their front wheel across the white line when they miss the gate?!
  15. That'll be a fast track system in the |Championship would it?!
  16. Masters is top of Wolves averages from September 1st. 8.32 v Rory's 8.21
  17. Strange that Doyley had a 5 ride 15 points haul whilst avoiding the 'hole' the whole meeting except for heat 15?!
  18. No mention of the fisticuffs between Riss and Masters in the evening meeting on here?! Any opinions....?
