So could Worky run on a Monday or Thursday evening in Premiership? Poole have tried it, won the titles but lost money! Supporters prefer Wednesday racing and the club's finances and attendances are much improved with Wednesday racing. Don't know about Glasgow but presumably they also don't want to move away from their regular racenight?! Of course if Premiership racing was on each club's preferred racenight - and had priority -, then who knows.......? -
'That landlord' is only the leaseholder. The Poole Stadium site is owned by the Council.

A brand new Pirates Promotional video set to drop on Monday, 1st July (just in time for the summer holidays)!! The teaser makes for great viewing should there be any future doubts about how popular speedway and the Pirates are in Poole and surrounding areas! The full version tomorrow should be excellent to spread the word further, especially if its needed in the future for any reason....................!

Max by his own admission had lost confidence but proved in the NDLRC Individual on Wednesday that his head is back in the game.. Now as long as he can improve his gating at Championship level........,. -

Plymouth clearly waited to see how Tate did at Oxford before offering him the guest booking! -
Is that Henry ATKINS? Asking for a friend....
-
They had a meeting last Wednesday at Oxford. They would be hosting their KO Cup semi final this Wednesday but Scunthorpe refused the fixture, hence hosting the NLDRC instead. Edinburgh next Weds at home.

Was the attendance a lot better as the Promoter had requested? -
Poor crowd. The Eurosport director needs to tell his cameraman not to use the wide shots of the main stand!!

Not if Osbourne offered to fund the building development in partnership with a property company eg Taylor Wimpey or similar?! The Council cant afford to fund new buildings themselves. Having said that, if/when the time comes there will be a helluva fan protest.........!

Oh well!! One would think that members of the BSPL Executive Board (cough - Dan Ford) would know what's what and do their best to maximise promotion of the meeting? He states in the SS today ' Some clubs have chosen to run a one-off individual meeting but are not part of a series. Each one is it's own standalone meeting and ours is billed NDLRC because I got permission to call it that!' Bearing in mind Poole can't run a NDL level team due to stadium costs, I guess the majority of local fans attending will just be happy to see a meeting featuring some riders with current or previous Poole connections. 20 heats - with run-offs if required - plus a 'winner' to be 'crowned', all for £15 max - whats not to like?!
