Yes great news on the Swindon website confirming the track work.
-
,,,and he'll be relying on Middlo's input a lot more as MF will not be attending (m)any away meetings despite flying in from France for the home meetings. ps. well done Richie - a very acceptable 5th place in the Bonanza against several heat leader standard riders.
-
Thanks for your valued input and utter b/s.
-
those were the days, something to smile about.

At least we have engine rev limiters to look forward to next year!! -
I am very aware that Mark got on well with Middlo - but that wasn't my question.?
-
Nic's 6 points (riding at 1 for Ostrovia) was really only from 4 rides as he was d/q in his last one. PS. Has Chris got a visitor visa then?
-
No issue with you having your own opinion, but many of your previous opinions have been supported by your 'facts and figures'. I'd just like to know what they are to support your opinion about Middlo in comparison to Rosco or Adams?! (Incidentally if you believe Rosco and Adams have achieved what they've done without some very strong financial assistance from their respective senior promoters then you are sadly mistaken!) ps. I'm not too up with Adams managerial career, but where else has he proved himself other than Wolves? pps. You might wish to ask your mate Mark Loram how he would rate or compare the three!!
-
You usually provide your 'facts' to back up your opinion. Can't wait to see them this time.......................!!!!
-
Our usual 3 seats reserved for the season and sponsorship agreed with MF today. Good times. Sacre Bleu!!
-
With the new 'kerb stones' already in place. At least this should shut up all the 'it'll never happen' protagonists.
-
P&P details on the club website.
-
An app could well be funded by advertisers/sponsors in a similar way to the matchday programme. Apart from fans through the turnstyles, some clubs only get additional income from sponsorship and advertising. But I don't believe that a speedway app (or apps) is too far away. Watch this space.
-
I thought Ged had announced he was on his way last season due to the horrendous travelling each week taking its toll. That was before any change of heart and/or interest from Buster.
-
No idea. But maybe MF didn't have any idea that Brummies wanted to buy him?! 'Every little helps' or so I was told!!
-
Not as if Poole could use him this season as he's committed to Brummies and Swindon!! Good bit of business for a few bob into the coffers.
-
Not got my SS yet (Postie is a bit late today!) but the article on speedwaygp.com confirms NKI is racing in Poland, Sweden and Denmark. Also confirms he still lives in UK!!.
-
Why did the Panthers press release announcement name Tungate as No.1 then?
-
Sponsors colour - no problem.
-
It was reported after the AGM that the priority for Premiership clubs was for all of them to operate within their own sensible budget and to at least have a 'break-even' budget ie not paying out 'silly' money to too many top riders - even assuming there were several that wanted to ride UK?!
-
I'm sure our new IT-friendly co-promoters will have this in hand. Stream it straight to the website and social media platforms - its not rocket science.. There will always be some fans who are more interested in Poole rather than Weymouth (and vice-versa) as much as there will be some fans who can't/won't stay for either the press conference or the 6 SDL heats. I'm sure its similar at most tracks.
-
Poole to be the home of Weymouth Wildcats for 6 SDL meetings in 2019. The six 6-heat meetings will take place on 6 Thursdays (yet to be advised) after the respective Pirates SGBP meetings.

revamped Dev League 2019

Weymouth Wildcats to race at Wimborne Road Poole in 2019. Meetings will take place on Thursdays after the Pirates SGBP meeting on dates still to be advised. On those selected dates, the Pirates will forego any interval, so that the Wildcats can follow on immeadiately the Poole meeting ends, More details to follow...... -
Not wrong - but not in quite such a big way as in the past. I still have my permanent seat in the sponsors area of the main stand. I don't agree that disabled should get free parking anywhere as long as there is provision for 'disabled-only' parking. At Poole the carpark (and all the refreshment options) are run by and for the benefit of the stadium owners - Stadia UK. Poole Speedway get no income from these sources which is why sponsorship/advertising and paying customers through turnstiles is so important there.
-
Unfortunately I do have to park there as I'm not able to walk very far these days, hence I get there quite early in order to guarantee a space.
-
Think yourselves lucky to only have to pay £1 to park on site. At some its been £2.50 for a while - none of which goes to the speedway club!!
