Last week's SS has Jon Cook saying he wants to use Rye House!!!
-
Probably because nothing has happened worth discussing!
-
Any club at Championship level that runs at weekends would have to avoid signing any rider who competes in any of the Polish divisions. By definition any of the 'richer' clubs riding Mon/Weds can afford to sign stronger teams which will make the one league concept uncompetitive for some. Clubs that lose regularly also lose fans!
-
A number of Championship clubs don't want one league with FRNS as they can only run on their designated day. Also if the 'top' riders are attracted to those clubs that can afford them what chance do the other clubs have in a one league scenario? They would not be competitive. (As already stated by the likes of Newcastle etc.)

What a load of tosh!!!
-
Allen who?
-
Not sure of the legalities but i would think CH's former partner would have some sort of claim on his possessions/property which could be why he's trying to liquidate them?

The latest plan shows an acoustic wall around the whole site.
-
Becker will start at Glasgow imo

AFC Bournemouth might well qualify for Europa League but not Bournemouth FC. Thursdays have always been Poole's official 'rainoff-night' - at least in recent memory....
-
Well done to the title-winning riders who are all off to the Abu Dhabi F1 at the end of November - including guest Nick Morris. Brady is also able to join them. It was going to be Las Vegas but Freddie Jacobsen is 'too young' to be allowed to enjoy everything on offer so, Abu Dhabi it is with the management and a couple of the club sponsors. (see today's Bournemouth Echo for full story). www.bournemouthecho.co.uk There is the first of the Autumn/Winter supporters club (R.E.F.) gatherings in Champs Bar at the stadium on November 14th which will include showing the film/dvd of the 70th Anniversary Dinner featuring interviews with 20+ past and present riders, for those fans that were unable to attend back in March. Not sure if any of the riders or management will be in attendance?

Rider of the Year was done on Facebook - Nicolai Klindt the clear winner! There hasn't been a D&D for several years as too many people complained about the cost and VFM of the last one!

Doyle wants Somerset return but......

Everyone except Championship clubs!!!! -
With the exception of injury-ridden Leicester, the 4 teams making the most changes were the eventual play-off semi-finalists.

Why would anyone want a hotel in the middle of a field?!
-
Great news.
-
Surely as well as the points limit it all depends on who runs the club in 2019 and whether theres a main sponsor?! I would have thought any new promotion would want to use as many club assets as possible in the first year
-
Which particular 'Gang of 2' are we talking about here? I'm hearing KC is stepping down?!
-
Why?
-
Redcar aren't for sale, they are just seeking a new promoter . All is in hand according to CVS in the Speedy Star. Swindon have got a track in 2019. Why haven't Worky got a track?
-
Agree Kurtz should be nailed on - as long as he's only 2nd or 3rd heat leader. MF said he would like to see Josh G back - but I guess it might depend on who is picking the team?
-
The Swedish Allskvenskan league have always used Thursdays but with only 6 teams in it (and 9 in the top Elitserien) so I gues it gives them another option to allow all 9 top teams to have a fixture every week.
-
Yes with some clubs affected much more than others. For example Somerset have been quoted as saying they were pleased with their good crowd attendances on their 'off night' as it was much easier on the M5 for fans to get there rather than on a Friday
-
The plan shows a 'compound barn' which would surely house equipment and hardware etc?
-
Nothing wrong with fixed race nights - if the Championship clubs had allowed the Prem clubs to stick to Mondays/Thursdays as agreed with FIM, and agreed that for any Thursday fixture clashes the Prem clubs should have priority!
