Our terminology should read 'Priority Race Nights' of Mondays and Thursdays which were granted by the FIM even though not utilised in 2018.
That means the Thursday Premiership meetings should take priority over any other country's fixtures. Of course we shall have to wait and see whether money comes into it, also whether bans are handed out for missed meetings or whether in those weeks an alternative race day will be used?!
NB> Interesting comments from Rosco in this week's Star that there are more things from the AGM still to be announced - little tweaks and such - probably announced in the New Year?!
The final 2018 Greensheets are now on the BSPA website as of this morning. I assume they are all correct as there are one or two unexpected averages on the list imo.
So presumably Bomber comes in on his 2018 Glasgow average?
Were averages confirmed last night, as Somerset have a bit of history of getting averages wrong in the past?
Matt is staying for the coming season. He announced to the fans last wednesday (via Nigel Leahy at the R.E.F. night) that Thursdays would be the Poole night but as up to 5 clubs are likely to prefer Thursdays there are bound to be some occasional Weds and Monday meetings - aside from the Bank Holidays as usual.
I believe there is the possibility of another Dane as recommended by Nicolai (either as 2nd string or reserve?!).
I reckon Brady and Nicolai are nailed on with the rest depending on the Holder(s?) situation and I also wouldn't rule out Josh G as MF has already said he would like to include him again.
Obviously still all speculation until the averages are confirmed...............
I think the point SB was that it never appeared in the rulebook or even as a supplementary rule on the SCB website - merely an 'understanding' between clubs for the 2018 season!!!
Wolves the first SGBP club to announce 2019 season ticket prices - before even a single rider has been announced!
Unless of course there is to be an announcement this evening at the talk-in?!
In the final instance it'll come down to a numbers game plus whoever MF believes will increase their averages.
As for Shanesie, whilst disappointed to be dropped last season, he was expecting it and is still on very good terms with his local club, Poole.
Buster just wants to ba a winner - no shame there!! He's now purchased reached a commercial agreement for 2 more chances in 2019.
Will it be enough I wonder?!
