I have it on very good authority that the Cleaning Company have been very good at getting all the initial hype and publicity but have a track record (sic) of not sticking to agreements! Not sure what the reasons may have been for that but with MF not being around so much to do all the usual 'glad-handing' that may have something to do with it?! Doubtless will find out tonight - if MF is there?!

Poole v Peterborough. Prem. 1/8/19

See my other post. I wasn't knocking him - merely letting people know what his comeback score was, although as I said I posted too early as he took 7 rides scoring 5+1. It would take a lot for him to miss a meeting at Poole as thats where some of his main sponsors are - but I'm not one of them. Incidentally I'm not sure Middlo would agree that he's been a great servant to British Speedway?! (thats raising eyebrows btw). -

Nicholls at 2 for Panthers and Ryan Douglas guesting at reserve!!! -
And so it may be. But if you look at the audience demographics and you want to attract young people to speedway then something of that ilk is exactly what should be tried. I bet now I've mooted the idea someone like the Isle of Wight would look at it very seriously

Jack back to number 1 in the new averages. Number 5 should suit Brady better on his return. Not sure that r/r is the best thing for Richie if Nico is still feeling under par?! Similarly, Tungate at 1 for the Panthers. -
As I've said before some clubs don't get any financial gain from bar and food, car park etc so your example would net approx £9400 gate receipts (taking the VAT off) less stadium rental - maybe £3k as in some cases - and less staff costs (officials, St Johns, etc) aside from the volunteers, so that would grossly affect the bottom line. Then you would have the promotional costs eg advertising, marketing, PR etc to attract improved audiences - these could vary substantially from area to area. With both the above suggestions there is little info about exactly how you would attract new audiences nor the costs of doing so?! Sorry for the critique as I try to be positive but there are so many questions left unexplained - or maybe even worse not even considered.

Oh please!! That'll secure you 5th place for sure!!

I was assuming that Wolves may have dropped him by then!

Covatti out as well tonight at Eastbourne!! Barker guests
-
At least in August there may be a few more home guest options available, although with Covatti withdrawing from the Somerset team at Eastbourne tonight, who knows what will be needed by Thursday?
-
At least Josh showed how disappointed he was and when apologising he refused any payment from the Panthers promotion. (See Panthers website)
-
Could use him to guest in a couple (not all 3) of the upcoming home meetings in August - but not sure what this has to do with this Peterborough thread?!

Chill out Baggy. I did use emoticons! Just delighted that Poole are still top with meeting(s) in hand - even after last night's meetings!!
