On his last two UK league sessions, THJ was using borrowed machinery including the proverbial 'track spares'! This time, with contracts at both Poole and Berwick in place til the end of the season, he is bringing his own bikes, van and mechanics as I understand it. Having him at reserve for Poole is certainly a plus although not sure how he will do at the remaining league fixture tracks eg the Foxhole and Norfolk Arena as well as in the play-offs? I'll be very interested to see how he goes at Birmingham tonight.

I think you are right - but he was still being 'world class' well after Freddie and Antonio hit the scene.

Times have changed at many clubs. Only a couple of weeks ago Swindon's owner Terry Russell said they would lose money this season and I believe the same will also apply to several clubs (again?) If the average fan had any real idea of the finances in speedway at the moment they would frighten themselves to death!!

THJ will be at 6 with Covatti replacing Richie at 2. r/r will allow Brady, Nico, THJ and Ricky to take those rides on current averages. for Ippo I assume Allen drops back to reserve with r/r for Heeps. Hope Jack has no after effects of his 'coming together' with Pedersen in heat 1 at Torun yesterday. He went on to score 10 points so hopefully all will be well.
