Hardly cheaply attired - all riders will have kevlars (same cost as team ones) but with matching race jackets - as they did last season when winning the title. Maybe if the Stars hadn't nicked Poole's club colours, things may have been different?! BTW all clubs agreed to Buster's request as BSPA Chairman to work to their own budgets to at least break even in 2019, to ensure that there would be a Premiership in 2020. Every club has its own (very different) income and expenditure potential.
-
New co-promoter Danny Ford explained that there was the chance of a new sponsor set to fund team kevlars but the deal fell through at the last moment - BUT hasn't ruled them out for the future as they are still seeking new sponsors..
-
why are Poole lucky a week on Monday?
-
Play-offs - Wolves; Swindon; Poole; Belle Vue. Thanks for turning up and looking smart in your kevlars: - Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Ipswich

Maybe Gomolski remembers being left in the $~it by Buster last season (or was it the season before?)

those were the days, something to smile about.

Hands up all those that have ever purchased something from having seen a bus advert?! As part of a wider and more expansive advertising campaign - maybe but..........? -
Poole are sticking with race jackets for the time being - just as they did when winning the title last year. The Promotion have fully explained their reasons behind this decision at last week's fans forum.
-
Nico is riding for the rebels. Poole will use either Rowe or Atkins.

2019 Press & Practice Dates

Poole April 4th from 1.30 for media, sponsors, season ticket holders and invited guests. 3pm riders on track and open (free) for general public -
The website suggests that the contractors are appointed and overseen by the Russells - with the dog track alterations being done by a different contractor, presumably appointed by Stadia UK.

Team Suits and/or Race Jackets
SteveLyric2 replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Race bibs would be a common design carrying the main sponsor(s) name(s), whether riders had matching kevlars or not! Don't get me wrong I personally prefer team kevlars but once the riders have all their individual sponsors added with different colours and logos, they all look different anyway - not something that happens with race jackets/bibs! So are the Witches club colours no longer Blue/black/white now? -
Team Suits and/or Race Jackets

So just to be clear on what you are saying - sponsors will be attracted if the team is all decked out in matching stuff?! Would they still be attracted if the team languishes at the bottom of the league?! No disrespect to Ippo - just asking.......! -
Yep, certainly taught Poole a few lessons last season!! Hahahaha
-
Zagar back for the Peter Craven meeting then!!?

How much extra funding does Basketball get from Sport England or the Lottery or whoever? I love it on TV (I used to play to a reasonable standard) but the major plus is that its indoors with no fears of rain-offs or variable surface conditions. Its one of the reasons that Boxing, Darts and Snooker a la Hearn are so much easier to get right. -
Where?

Yes great news on the Swindon website confirming the track work.

,,,and he'll be relying on Middlo's input a lot more as MF will not be attending (m)any away meetings despite flying in from France for the home meetings. ps. well done Richie - a very acceptable 5th place in the Bonanza against several heat leader standard riders.
-
Thanks for your valued input and utter b/s.

At least we have engine rev limiters to look forward to next year!! -
I am very aware that Mark got on well with Middlo - but that wasn't my question.?
-
Nic's 6 points (riding at 1 for Ostrovia) was really only from 4 rides as he was d/q in his last one. PS. Has Chris got a visitor visa then?
-
No issue with you having your own opinion, but many of your previous opinions have been supported by your 'facts and figures'. I'd just like to know what they are to support your opinion about Middlo in comparison to Rosco or Adams?! (Incidentally if you believe Rosco and Adams have achieved what they've done without some very strong financial assistance from their respective senior promoters then you are sadly mistaken!) ps. I'm not too up with Adams managerial career, but where else has he proved himself other than Wolves? pps. You might wish to ask your mate Mark Loram how he would rate or compare the three!!
-
You usually provide your 'facts' to back up your opinion. Can't wait to see them this time.......................!!!!

Our usual 3 seats reserved for the season and sponsorship agreed with MF today. Good times. Sacre Bleu!!
