Is either team missing riders to Sweden this week? Oops I forgot its a league meeting so we take precedence. -

Clearly getting scared of the Poole visit on Thursday!!! Pirates will have no chance now imo!

Strange one that with Harris. Maybe why the Poole management didn't keep him, despite his heroics last season? -

I was going to mention to Brady and Middlo last night your opinion that Kurtz 'goes missing' in the 'big' heats - but I didn't bother!! -

Except that Nicholls and Bates have signed for the Panthers, ousting Barker and Bjerre - neither of the latter two being a better bet than Richie Worrall imo. -

So how are all the experts doing this evening? 41-49 lol. -
People would still need to know about it (where, when etc) before they became interested in going!!

The immediate future of speedway in Herts/Essex

The article in the Speedway Star talks about the 'new owners' stating that they are wanting to concentrate on longtrack racing - by which the magazine assumes they mean 'flat-track'?! -

Isn't heat 15 the 'top scorers' heat? Heeps had only scored 4 points up to then!! Well done to the Witches - it was the first 6 heats that did most of the damage, with the remaining heats (apart from heat 11) either shared or to Poole's advantage. As co-promoter Danny Ford has now said publicly, Poole must improve their set-ups for the start of every meeting together with their gating in order not to get left so far behind, otherwise there may be repercussions!! This has been the case home and away - except for the 20 point home drubbing of BV - so needs sorting soonest for the league meetings! -

Its clearly stated in the meeting previews on both websites. Is it also in the Evening Star as its covered also in the local Echo. -
Where on earth do you get your Pirates info from then? It was also on twitter and as I said in the local media too. Were you not in the stadium when free Tee shirts were thrown into the crowd to coincide with the new website announcement?

Totally unacceptable behaviour BUT why is this in the Premiership section and not the Championship section when three of the 4 apparent culprits are from Championship clubs? Just asking....! -
The Poole website was all about a new design, lay-out, navigation etc, in response to many fans negative feedback about the .co site. Poole's new co-promoters Danny Ford and Anthony Tilley were instrumental in the new website via the digital marketing company they own and work for and went for the .com domain whilst the new site was in production and then went live with it. I honestly cannot understand how Poole fans could have missed all the announcements!!? (I believe the .co domains were a throwback to the Terry Russell regime of media contracts?!)

Buster's decision to finance 3 Premiership clubs was to ensure that there was a Premiership as the sport moves towards the end of the current BT Sports contract and - as was announced at the time - implored all the 7 clubs to work to their own minimum 'break-even' budgets in order that there are no more 'financial casualties' at the end of this season. Every club will have its own budget suited to their own very localised situation with varying sponsorship, costs and attendances in order to remain solvent this year. If it means that a one league structure is the short term future so be it - although not sure what level the sport would be at in that scenario?! -
It did to begin with, but I guess after all the announcements of the new site www.poole-speedway.com across all social media platforms, in the local press, in the matchday programme and from the centre green presenter, it was felt ok simply to close the old one!!

Not withstanding the availability of the stadium which might dictate the day that speedway can be run!? -
Who is going to pay the costs of those changes? Not Buster thats for sure.

....and you don't have to be on twitter to get the twitter updates!

Oops he didn't keep still enough for me to get his name right. Sorry Tobiasz!! -
Poole travel to Foxhall with 3 team changes - Scott Nicholls and Tomasz Musielak for Brady Kurtz and Nicolai Klindt who are both in a prioritised Swedish League fixture; and Garry May for Neil Middleditch!! With the Witches on a strong vein of form winning away at Peterborough last night and almost getting a deserved win at Poole last week, I predict another close one - 48-42 to the Witches.

along with a lot more serious injuries on the Polish tracks!"!!
