  1. Just clarifying the Kent position for those that may be still under the impression they were going PL.
  2. The extra team in the CL is Kent on Wednesdays (hopefully) - as announced by Len Silver this week,. Plymouth are also applying to BSPA for the CL, plus as Hodgy posted above the strong rumour of one other hoping for CL status.(Couldn't be IOW could it?!)
  3. Not quite sure what i'm supposed to have done to be referred to as 'dross' but if it helps to make your day then dross away!!
  4. The points limit was agreed at the pre-agm meeting based upon a certain number of teams. It's the same process every year. However all i'm saying is that with more teams now declaring there might be a change. If there is it won't be majorly significant to stop a club from starting to offer rider contracts - especially to get your heat leaders sorted!
  5. Of course its a done deal. No way the Championship clubs wouldn't welcome Poole (and Plymouth and Kent - and possibly one other) with open arms!! The only thing the extra number of teams might change is the points limit which is why Poole aren't announcing riders yet.
  6. Depends if there is an NDL next season?
  7. Its the Rebels 'End of season party' on Saturday so there may be some announcements then.
  8. His interview in the Speedway Star a couple of weeks ago suggested he is going back to Brummies.
  9. All clubs know the points limit that's been discussed at the pre-agm meetings as well as the likely teams in each league The AGM should simply be a rubber stamping procedure.
  10. So Len Silver intends to run Championship on a Wednesday and still run a team in the NL if there is one
  11. If they haven't committed to Championship, why let Nicolai and Josh go? If the BSPa insist they stay Premiership then Poole would surely retain many of their table-topping 1-7?
  12. 11 less Sheffield plus Poole and Plymouth =12 And still there is Kent! !
  13. Yes i'm aware of when the agm is. 14-17 November.
  14. Wait til you hear the league fixture format.
  15. So Championship format for 2020 is one home and away then 2nd half of season split into north and south with one home and one away. Or that's what i'm hearing?!
  16. I'm sure he can afford to pay - no need for a 'stick up'!!
  17. Probably. with Doyle and Batch living in UK there would be no air fares. I wasn't really looking for comparisons merely to ask what you thought they would demand?
  18. Is that the similar feeling to when you thought KL were going to win something??! As far as not hearing anything since, Danny Ford has been quoted in the local press that team plans are well under way and we're all looking forward to the new challenges in the Championship!
  19. Just as a matter of interest, how much individually do you think those 4 riders would demand in payment? eg Signing on fees, points money, mechanics, vans, air fares, accommodation etc? What would be your ballpark estimates?
  20. Exactly right but it has to be sustainable. The last thing any club or indeed the Premiership itself wants are 'one season' wonders!! And thats no disrespect to any team that may be considering it.
  21. Costs - or more importantly operating to an acceptable budget - are the most important. No money = no club so loyalty and points limits won't mean diddly squat!!
