....and will Cook be banned by then? Maybe at least wait til Tuesday -
He did it with Chris Holder so no reason why Cook shouldn't be treated at least the same!!!!

If you go on 5/9/19 you'll be a month too late -
I gather at Eastbourne you can get a battered sausage with a chip on your shoulder and a Glasgow kiss!!

So good to be shared between so many aliases.

Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final

Cheers - the link from the BSPA site doesn't seem to be working.... I always tend to use that link first as I always check the BSPA site before going to any individual club website!! -
Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final

So with the SCB's Neil Vatcher present at the track and the 'pre-meeting incidents' apparently reported to him by the ref, I would expect that the SCB will call a hearing for all sides to put their case and then any punishment will be dished out thereafter. Hopefully it won't be before the Stars take on the Witches on Monday as they are already without Robert Lambert. ps. Any reason why the Glasgow website appears to be down? -
So with all the shananigans at Eastbourne last night lets hope any punishment that Cook rightly receives, doesn't kick in til after Monday's meeting v Ipswich, especially as Lambert is already missing from that one!
-
Maybe running on a Saturday when theres a GP on tv might be a factor? We might get another clue this evening.

Personally, I would be amazed that any speedway fan - current or lapsed - would come onto any speedway related topic or forum to express a view without firstly checking the above link??!!

Poole v Peterborough. Prem. 1/8/19
SteveLyric2 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Just to be clear, with only Richie missing from the 1-5 then only r/r or a permanent replacement are the options! Could only use a guest for Richie if r/r was already in operation for another rider! Also once we get to the play offs, if there are any more injuries then guests can only come from the 3 non-qualifying teams or the CL. -
...and MF made no secret of that fact!!

If Richie confirms his fitness by 28th August latest then he'll be back! If not then a replacement will be signed for September/October. (in my opinion of course.) -
As its Friday night tonight, my lunch box might well be the centre of attention!!
-
As indeed it is on the BSPA website and the September 19 has been taken off!!

I felt for Hans last night - especially with the news that one of his and Poole's main sponsors had passed after a battle with illness (A lovely tribute by Matt Ford in the programme by the way.) RIP Jo Tomlin (Meridian Lifts). Very impressed with Scotty's new engine and Douglas's first time performance. Nothing more to add to SS's excellent summary other than we did question why Nico had 7 rides - although he did score better as the meeting progressed so maybe some early mechanical gremlins rather than ribs? (Incidentally spoke to Nicolai before the meeting who was intent on racking up a good score as his machinery has just set him back some £10k!!!) -
Glad you got the name right Nij!!!! Especially with the main team sponsors being there last night!!
-
So tonight at Poole it was announced that Poole are away at Swindon on 22 August despite it not being listed in the programme. Any confirmation Swindon fans?
-
Well he's not gonna be there next week!!
-
I have it on very good authority that the Cleaning Company have been very good at getting all the initial hype and publicity but have a track record (sic) of not sticking to agreements! Not sure what the reasons may have been for that but with MF not being around so much to do all the usual 'glad-handing' that may have something to do with it?! Doubtless will find out tonight - if MF is there?!

Poole v Peterborough. Prem. 1/8/19

See my other post. I wasn't knocking him - merely letting people know what his comeback score was, although as I said I posted too early as he took 7 rides scoring 5+1. It would take a lot for him to miss a meeting at Poole as thats where some of his main sponsors are - but I'm not one of them. Incidentally I'm not sure Middlo would agree that he's been a great servant to British Speedway?! (thats raising eyebrows btw). -
