  1. There was talk of the Poole v Kings Lynn Premiership meeting being followed by Poole v KL Supporters Cup meeting on 12th ie a double header?! No announcements either way so guess it'll just be the league meeting.
  2. Bad back - non-speedway injury - probably happened in the studio on Saturday?!
  3. Well with BT anything is possible I guess.
  4. BT's league speedway is always on a Monday until the play-offs. Thursday 12/9 is a repeat of next Monday's (9/9) Kings Lynn v Poole meeting. It still doesn't explain why they have decided not to cover this evenings meeting though?
  5. Thought it was more a sick bike than a sick body (comparatively speaking of course!?)
  6. Don't worry, you've only got a week to wait to see both on TV!!
  7. Assuming Josh is fit to return then Wells need only have 3 rides!!
  8. I guess that if Ippo had managed to sneak a home win, the fair-minded fans would have booed Bomber?!
  9. At least THJ came through his Berwick meeting unscathed scoring 9 points last night.
  10. As this meeting seems to have disappeared from the BT Sports schedules, you would think that the Wolves preview would be highlighting the importance of actually attending the fixture if fans want to see it?!
  11. Thats your opinion and thats fine. I expressed an alternative one based on a conversation yesterday and thats fine too.
  12. 'Mate'?! You clearly know all there is to know about ridiculous posts so you must be delighted to chalk up another one!!
  13. I haven't said it was ok,. I haven't said it either did or didn't affect the result. I was simply putting an alternative view having spoken to his dad before they set off to the airport. No body knows what potential damage a rider suffers when hitting the deck for any reason - whether caused by an opposing rider or by his own actions - its very common for a rider to be winded or to feel a little dizzy or shaken up or whatever. Most riders initial reaction if they feel able is to try to get up and get off the track asap as I'm sure it was in Brady's case. After his recent absences due to concussion its not unreasonable to think he was being extra cautious if he felt the slightest bit disorientated?! He clearly wasn't feeling 100% only finishing 3rd in heat 15 after being on a max from his earlier rides. Just an alternative opinion.......which at least is on the relevant thread!
  14. If he was winded - and its perfectly understandable that he was - then there is 'nothing wrong in what he done' or what he did. Bearing in mind his recent injuries I'm sure he was simply being ultra cautious, with his parents there just prior to their return to Oz yesterday.
  15. Of course Poole would want Swindon in the final - and vice versa. Its all about the finances for both clubs this season!!
  16. Brady reckons he was winded which is why he sat down after trying to get up too quickly!
  17. Only referencing Terry Russell's own comments from a couple of weeks ago and pleased that the crowd numbers seem to have responded. He is looking to step away due to ill-health and wants to ensure the club is in a reasonably healthy position when he leaves it to Rosco and Kilby.
  18. Was it a decent size crowd A ORLOV? With big scores like the past couple of weeks Terry Russell will be saying his prayers!!
  19. I agree with that statement especially the last bit on a thread that may not even be relevant to you and your club?! Such a shame after your early season results with Heeps at reserve, Still its not how you start its how you finish - as the song goes!
  20. If Middlo is a clown, what does that make Hawkins? What exactly do you believe are the factors in the 'steady decline' of speedway in the UK? And please explain what part you think MF has played in them? Facts rather than hearsay opinions would help. (You might want to check with your mate Mark Loram, before replying?)
