Kelvin has improved no end and I do like his knowledgeable commentary. I don't believe NP has improved at the same rate and just comes across now as somewhat repetitive "Yes, very much so"!! As for the GPs I agree there should be another studio 'expert' so its not just the Scotty shirt show! (NB. I did say shirt!) The GP qualifier programme and rider position selection process needs a revamp especially with Kiri asking each rider 'So why did you choose number ??' Pointless.

So no thread on this one so far. Poole back to full strength (?)with what seems like a couple of dodgy reserves. What will be the Stars line-up? Will Cook be riding? Is he safe with himself and other riders? Is Lambert fully fit? Who knows as nothing official yet on either website. All we do know is that BT have switched their live meeting to Panthers v Robins which is not unsurprising as they,ve already shown Stars v Pirates earlier in the season. Thoughts?

So Peterborough get a BT Sports live TV meeting on Monday. Their fixture v Robins now replacing the Stars v Pirates!

Deuce. Thats a heck of a conundrum, but no doubt someone will get an advantage?! -

League speedway is effectively 15 heats of Pairs racing. I think the race points in each heat should be 4;3;2;0 with a tactical substitution of a pair (2 riders) if a team goes 14 points down. -
Brando is the 'floor manager of choice' for a very wide selection of televised sports so maybe wouldn't be able to commit.? Bring back Charlie Webster I say!!

Perk up mate. The rearranged fixture Poole v Ipswich on 16th Sept just been added to the BT Sports schedule. Although it might be incorrect with BT getting the date of the Play-off semis confused?! Nigel and Kelvin will be gutted not to be going back to the NSS! (and we probably won't hear the last of it!!). -
The issue with r/r for Worrall was that only Josh, Nico and Wells could take the rides. r/r at 2 meant that Nico would usually take 2 of the rides so to have him in the main body of the team at 2 shouldn't make a whole lot of difference. The worry was if he/we had an off-night - or another injured rider - in the play-offs then winning would prove too difficult. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though - and who knows who may have an off night or exceed expectations in the play-offs?

I scored Morris as 11+3. (0;3;2+1;1;1+1;1+1;3) Well done to the Wolves - much better on the night and all over by heat 8 to be honest. Stronger reserves and stronger with r/r, but no complaints from me. THJ looked to have finally got his set-up right in heat 14 - shot out of the gate then promptly fell off whilst battling a 5+1 with Josh G. So hopefully could be worth a few points next time around. Track was much slicker (and dustier) than recent weeks, but take nothing away from Wolves - they wanted it more. (or was it just a bit of average reduction before the play-offs?)

I note Carl Johnson wants a good positive performance from his ,makeshift team to show the owner how much they want to stay in the top league next year!? -
Do you really believe all those things haven't already been thoroughly discussed at BSPA meetings prior to the 'rubber-stamping' at the AGM?

A 3xdivision regional set-up has certainly been discussed at the BSPA table. Not sure what level (points limit?) it would be at and not sure if its still seen to be a viable option? -
Very much so!!

Four riders on bikes around a track for 4 laps. 13 to 15 times per meeting. Whats not to like in its present form?! -
So are we saying that live speedway coverage in UK is in no way part of the reason for reduced speedway attendances?
