  1. More likely the top league coming to Poole - with their begging bowl out!!
  2. Every club has different costs based on a number of issues - not least whether they own their stadium/track or not - so its a pointless to compare income/expenditure based on attendances. Poole are also running a 50/50 draw this season for the air fence fund.
  3. Plus the race jackets from the CLRC meeting, as the photos on the Poole website and FB pages show. Thanks for checking in...!
  4. Klindt's absence on Wednesday is a legitimate senior Danish League meeting which takes precedence for Danish riders. So Plymouth get a full guest facility.
  5. So who really believes that Plymouth weren't aware of Klindt's likely foreign commitments when they signed him after he touted his availability around several Championship clubs? IYKYK.😃
  6. Anders missing the return on Saturday!
  7. I guess we shall all have to wait for the official SCB referee's meeting report and whether there was any official protest lodged by the Oxford management, plus what was communicated by the ref to the start marshall, if anything?
  8. I guess you won't want any more Pirates to guest for you then? Although I note Garry M was in deep convo with a couple of them on Weds.😇 or maybe that was for next season......!😉
  9. Just to add something to the 'debate', a start marshall remains on the track when the ref starts each race as he walks away from the start line but still on the track. In fact when the start marshall has to use a pole/bollard on the line to stop the tapes from billowing, he has to return to the startline to remove the pole while the first lap of the race is in progress. Also aren't start marshalls, like refs, SCB accredited?
  10. ...and none are moaning about Thomsen either.
  11. Matt's the owner so after his 'motivational' team talk in the pits he's entitled to keep a 'watchful eye' on his riders' gating.
  12. Out of interest why were Oxford weakened when their reserves scored paid 19?
  13. Correct! After the meeting Starke and Cairns were trying out different set-ups under the watchful eyes of Matt Ford and Richard Lawson until the ref got impatient for the second half of upright races.
  14. He is a heat leader. Just choosing to ride at 4.
  15. Speculating about riders for next year is a bit crazy when we are not sure of the league(s) structure or points limits, despite what was 'agreed' at the AGM! Rumours of discontent in a few of the Premiership clubs whilst definitely losing Birmingham will mean changes in 2026 imo.
  16. Cairns is already 4.15 as at Friday 1st August. Still at reserve though.😜
  17. Three, with Cooper Rushen who turns 16 in March 2026 I believe.
  18. Watched the BSN stream mainly to see how the 2 Pirate guests did! Shame the meeting was so drawn out as I switched over at 9pm for the AFCB match on Sky. Well done to Tobias and the Glads. Unlucky Starkey! Let's see what Oxford bring to Wimborne Road on Wednesday!!
