Big decisions in November.

Unless of course the respective stadia are used for something else on Saturdays?! (and Sundays for that matter.) -
More than BT but less than Sky. I'm told a 5 year deal is on the table plus the possibility of some Polish sponsorship because of the Eurosport audience reach?! Please don't shoot the messenger as we're not at AGM time yet!!

Mark Lemon wants Kurtz at Belle Vue alongside Fricke. Somerset want him back there too. He's always lived at Middlo's but who knows. As for Poole's main sponsor the eagle-eyed amongst will have seen their logo reappear on the website and the programme cover as I gather monies have changed hands. Also with the advent ofEurosport money on the horizon i'm told the club is no longer proactively up for sale.

I might not be able to go myself depending on the date. Unless there is some sort of incentive to attend I don't believe many 'fans' will bother to attend a totally meaningless fixture other than those that have either already paid (ie Sponsors and Season Ticket holders) or go every week no matter what (ie true/real fans). Obviously I would exclude any true fans that are unable to attend due to their circumstances.

99% certain it won't be one league - not with extra money coming in from Eurosport if their deal is confirmed! Just a matter of how many teams in the Premiership? Terry Russell hoped at least 8.

Somerset then?! To join a strong Aussie contingent for 2020? -
Its just Swindon's turn this time mate - it happens to most successful teams sooner or later!!

What a wonderful way of covering all your bases (thats a baseball term btw). Heeps was publicly giving it large before the meeting, but apart from being gifted a point or so, he hasn't really performed since he came out of reserve. 'Poole have riders like Kurtz, Klindt and Holder', but Kurtz always 'goes missing' in the later heats according to you but 'still rides Foxhole better than Poole'?! Everyone of your posts involving Poole always has a positive and negative argument, so you can always come back and say you got it right. Very repetitive as usual.

So after an incredible evening at Wimborne Road last night and now watched the TV version, I have also trawled through over a dozen pages on this thread. Its quite funny how the tone of the posts changes whether one is a fan, a neutral or a 'moaner/hater'. Very funny. Don't think I have anything to add that hasn't already been stated, other than I don't agree that the attendance was lower than last week - I thought it was more than reasonable considering the rain before the meeting. The only thing that worries me slightly is THJ's left arm/shoulder injury - he damaged it doing Longtrack a couple of weekends ago and he was clearly in some discomfort after the meeting, so his performance was even more remarkable last night. PS. Afterwards there was quite a bit of rumouring about rider-movements for 2020 - but then there always is at this time of the season! Should make for another interesting Winter of discussion!! If any prove to be true, then Belle Vue, Somerset and Poole should have some very interesting line-ups. PPS. Also a whisper that Poole is no longer pro-actively up for sale!!!! but just like any other club, if the right offer comes in...............!?

Apologies. The averages have been updated again for October 1st. I had'nt seen those when I posted yesterday - too much going on with the play-offs!! -
Should be dry but cold wind tonight!! As Rayc says above its sunny at the moment and forecast to continue this afternoon and evening. Might be the odd shower. Not been down to the track today but someone has posted on FB that track covers have been utilised?! Anyway nice to see Ippo's sponsor offering a cash incentive if they bring home silverware - I reckon he's on a fairly safe bet there. Meanwhile the Poole side are all having their carpets cleaned!!

Looks a possibility depending what they decide and how many teams there are.

No it wasn't! In the latest official GSA's (Issue 24 - 18/9/19)both BV and KL have more than one 8 point rider, as do Swindon. In fact in the last KL programme v Poole, both Lambert and Cook are listed as 8 pointers.
