Danny Ford states in the Star that the team will be a mix of old and new faces as whilst the Championship gives less opportunity to use their 'top end' assets, it does create more opportunities for new riders (assets?) elsewhere in the 1-7!!
Can't see it being Eastbourne as they - like Leicester - are a Saturday track so still clashes with his BT commitments. I would put Kent much higher up the list of possible clubs.
Although Eastbourne have run a fan survey asking for opinions of Saturday nights v Sunday afternoon racing?! Its a nice little survey on their website!
Hans rides in the Danish league on some Wednesdays.
Scott is leaving Leicester due to the number of Saturday fixture clashes with his BT Sport commitments.
Meanwhile Kent confirm a 'surprise International rider' to be announced!!
Nick Budimir is/was quite well known in the Bournemouth/Poole and East London areas for his involvement in a number of businesses both retail and corporate. He was one of a group of sponsors of Antonio Lindback back in the day.
Maybe his plans for a 24/7 stadium facility might also include a nightclub-type of venue??!!
If you search his name on Yahoo theres a video of him from 9 years ago talking about very similar plans and ideas for another greyhound track proposal which sounds very similar. There is also reference to his former employer - a certain Mr David Sullivan - which may ring a few bells for some?!
