Chris Holder's been out of British speedway for long enough and together with all the injuries he's suffered he'll get a 30%reduction on his converted average and will skipper the side!

I'm sure it'll coincide with the Echo's press deadline for Thursday's editions ie sometime today before about 10pm!! MF tries to avoid any major AFCB news coverage in the Echo or on local radio. The previous notification was down to me. The club said at the time that the next announcement (Neilsen) 'would be in 4-5 days time'! I went for 4 days ie Tuesday but clearly miscounted and it was Wednesday. As explained earlier to L-C, today Wednesday 4th was mentioned by Matt as the next rider announcement in an email to all sponsors who he is meeting with this week on a flying visit from France.

The so-called 'fixed race nights' in the Premiership are really 'priority race nights' so that Premiership teams - especially those on Monday TV (assuming thats what Eurosport still want?) - aren't missing riders who may be doubling down in the Championship.

That's what MF put in his email to sponsors!!

And so it is. Number 1 on a converted 8.75 average.

The interview suggested he might give the UK a total miss in 2020 because he was absolutely knackered riding for 2 teams and doing all his own spannering! He wanted to go home and spend quality time with his family in Italy and he would need help with a mechanic to even consider one uk league!!

Anyone who has ridden NL on an ACU licence and not ridden for another federation.?

Well done to the Robins for coming on board in the new Southern Consortium of Poole, Somerset, Eastbourne and Swindon to offer the 4 club's season ticket holders a £5 discount at all qualifying meetings. Rosco and Lee clearly know that all the best racing is going to be in the Championship in 2020!!! (ps. I am joking)

Poole have managed Danish riders for years when racing Wednesdays as the Danish league is relatively small with teams only needing 5 riders from a squad!!
