  1. I thought all the Rye House results and rider scores were expunged at the end of that season?!
  2. No one on here is trying to make a case but it may be a consideration for the club if they go down that route. He was out all year - in Britain. Funny enough its the British rules and the British Directors that would need to be asked. Nothing to do with Denmark.
  3. Patrick Hansen who was the original Danish target needed mechanic and lots of other stuff as well as having a much busier European fixture commitment which would have meant quite a few fixture clashes at home and away for Poole - or any other Championship club!!! As I've said previously with EG missing the whole of the 2019 British season due to recovery from his injuries I gather, then I would think MF would at least try to get a reduction to take his average under the 5 points. But who knows - it may all change again if the Aussies throw up another superstar in the making. JC, CB and DW are all on the case for Matt!!
  4. Nicolai Klindt before FRNs, Freddie Jacobsen, Bjarne Pedersen, Leon Madsen, Tom Knudsen..........
  5. You can't stop riders, mechanics, sponsors, track staff from talking names before the club wants to make announcements official!! Sometimes sponsors are given a heads-up as they are asked to assist with finance, but its not their place to make announcements until the club wants to go public officially.
  6. Can't disagree with any of your comments SteveHols54. The THJ suggestion was reported from Australia as being 'general knowledge' and I can only think that MF may be after a reduction on his average due to his injuries and the fact he didn't ride here in 2019. Even the slightes reduction would mean alittle more scope for the final reserve. It may of course have something to do with fixture clashes or simply come down to money with MF building to a strict budget for 2020 and the latest option being cheaper?! Still I quite like the thought of two Aussie reserves - depending on how the Aussie championships pan out?!
  7. The riders announced so far all qualify for the 2.5% reduction on their final official averages as they rode or were qualified to ride in the NL. The same will apply to our number 5 when announced. I know who one of the 4 point reserves is supposed to be. And there is much very strong rumour from the Australian meetings that a foreign (non-aussie) rider would be at 4 leaving the final reserve which may well depend on Aussie championships performances. The team plans have changed a little as they always do.
  8. Poole don't need 4 riders (although they may still need to sign one!) - they just haven't announced them all yet!! Its always a staggered process upto and over Christmas.
  9. The 2019 SCB regulations (Clause 16.2.1) state that in the Championship, League Table and Shield Table meetings count towards the CMA but NOT play-offs.
  10. I know I was just trying to prove DiCk2 wrong and forgot what section I was in!!
  11. How come? Thought you were a Swindon supporter?!
  12. So you disagree with your club's owner and Promoters then?
  13. Bull rubbish. He's not trying to finance both. He's in a partnership.. He's not even building a hotel. He's helping to renovate a chateau. If he's that desperate for cash then he would have accepted any offer - and there were some!! Why would you put your son in charge of something that couldn't make money and why would his son give up his full time day job if there wasn't money to be made?
  14. Maybe none of the so-called speedway fans are but the promoters certainly are!!
  15. Matt Ford still owns the club and has signed all the riders for 2020. Who is he supposedly 'betraying'?
