The Eastbourne promoter has given his view and has accepted the BSPA decision as to the reasons for the change - without saying anything about the actual reasons, other than that they were valid!!

I think he means Worrall!! So the final 2 to be announced on Wednesday - a bit later than planned - due to reassurances on fitness and possible fixture clashes?! -
Yes you are right. I should have checked the official listing rather than rely on someone else's version on here!!! Apologies.
-
I understand that!! His ban would have been til the April of the year following the offence. BUT as far as applying successfully for a work visa, some UK visa applications have a 2-year restriction if various application deadlines have been missed or something was wrong with the original paperwork?! Not sure if or how it may have affected the situation...?
-
Am I right in recalling C.Holder's ban following the KL sacking, ended in the April? If so maybe any new visa/work permit cannot be validated until the anniversary of the ending of that ban?!
-
No you don't! Eastbourne v Poole in Round 1. Winners to meet Somerset in Round 2.

How do Poole get a bye? Poole v Eastbourne in the first round!!

You two should get a room or at least a different thread!!!! Meanwhile the Aussie u21 takes place today. Could be relevant to Poole's final 2 riders?! -
I think it probably reflects the dire financial straits many clubs find themselves in and the BSPA attempts to keep costs to a minimum where possible.

There have often been occasions during the season when Middlo has not been available - even at home - and either the likes of Matt or Garry May and even Jim Lynch or A.N.Other has stepped in! -

If you look at the number of Peterborough sponsors compared to Poole's then I would be more concerned about the Panthers. But then I guess it's more about the amount of money rather than the number of sponsors. Poole are offering 4 levels of club sponsorship - a bit like Gold Silver Bronze etc each offering different levels of publicity and branding I imagine. Maybe it's just Danny getting all his 'ducks in a row' before updating the website sponsor pecking order? -

Havvy has Poole in his heart. He's often down Poole-way staying at Matt's or Middlo's. Can't wait for the fixtures now. -

Poole only stopped using race suits in 2018 to celebrate their 70th Anniversary year with a 'new' logo and race bib. They kept the race bib in 2019 due to finances ,losing 2 large sponsors due to their other business priorities. -

Poole have regular media reporters at every home meeting often including Paul Burbidge who also reports for Speedway Star and Sgp. The Bournemouth echo report and stories are shared to the other Echo daily and weekly titles across the South and at least 3 local/regional radio stations carry the stories. Yesterday's announcements also on BBC South tv. PR or not it ain't bad coverage which the club have always worked hard at. -

Havvy rode '98 to 2002. Matt was main team sponsor when Havvy joined - the year before Matt finally bought the club with Mike Golding.
