  1. Is this in a different Council area? ie Wiltshire Council rather than SBC?
  2. Ben Trigger did well last night scoring in each of his 3 rides. He clearly benefitted from advice and practice at the track the day before. Unusual for a guest!! Well done.
  3. Plymouth team news is usually the evening before the meeting.
  4. McGurk's a danger at this level! Well done Tobias. Came over a day early for some practice, bought/rented an engine from Richard Lawson and got Rider of the Night! The do'nuts are back. Fair play to all the experts who said it would be closer than the League meeting!! Phew......😜
  5. I hope Tobias' head (and ankle!) is in the right place as he's just lost one of his closest friends/mechanics!!😢 Trigger will be fine for 2 or 3 points or maybe more if he's got his new broom with him?! Clean Sweep????
  6. BSN are not showing the BSN semis and final - apparently!! They don't like showing Poole too often!😍 ps. looks as though Craig Cook is back for Leicester this evening so barring any injury (or feeding/changing duties) he should be at Wimborne Road on Wednesday!
  7. No reason Worky's Cook should be missing unless he's feeding the baby!😇
  8. Everyone watching last night's Championship Pairs will better understand why Paco Castagna has not been 'snapped up' by a Premiership club!!
  9. The 'TBC' was supposedly either Nicolai Klindt (if fit) or Chris Holder!! Neither are doing it!!
  10. There was some determined (hard?) riding from a few riders last night, yet it was only Poole riders that hit the deck!!
  11. Is that your part-time 'Chubby Checker' impression?🤣
  12. So let's reset after last night. Well done to a determined Oxford team who clearly weren't fazed by the track or the opposition on the night. There were some fast race times by both teams. Congrats to Killeen and Ben Cook, clearly the best 2 riders on show. My only criticism of captain Cook was him choosing the wrong gates in heat 1 (its an ongoing niggle of mine). Others have already stated the problem areas but those riders just need to get fitter and get going again as there aren't any options. Hopefully the result will give them the necessary 'kick up the posteriors'! Moving on........
  13. A bit overcast in Poole today - as forecast- should make track prep a bit less pressured.
  14. ....and Perry. I predict Vinnie will be back for the play offs!
  15. ....and in a larger pond than the Premiership!
  16. Update on Vinnie: Nothing broken. Needs to rest with physio, so its a bit of a waiting game, likely to be out upto 4 weeks! ( but we know what speedway riders are like).
  17. Also all the youngsters and newcomers attending this season (I bring 4 newbies as well as my usual 5!) don't have a clue about 'top' riders, or who rode in the past or the difference between Prem and Champs! They simply want to shout and wave and get behind the guys in the red and blue helmet colours!!
  18. Their race track is similar to the wide open spaces of Polish tracks!
