He has a big following in Argentina!!
-
Bowtell has turned down Scunny because he didn't want to travel according to Rob Godfrey on 360 podcast this week.
-
18 years old and in the Danish U21 squad. He's going to be a busy boy in 2026 with already 3 other contracts in Denmark, Sweden and Poland!!
-
With most tracks doing their own streams for home meetings, there are some very decent and knowledgeable commentary and pits interviewers around that could be considered for BSN - if only for some variety instead of the same voices (and opinions!?).
-
Isn't the 8% season reduction only applicable to British riders who were in the Championship? If so, then it should apply to the likes of Ablitt, who didn't ride Championship in 2025 partly due to injury.
-
Has there actually been any confirmation by Havvy and Wilson helping him? Or has it just come from Garrity saying at as verbatim?!
-
Rosco has always said he would want to pick his own 1-7 if ever he was to return.
-
Maybe the new owners are trying to 'strongarm' a couple of GP riders to replace Emil and Doyley and want to get that sorted before any ownership announcement is made?!
-
Krayzy!🤣

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams
SteveLyric2 replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Why Godfrey's head? Phil Morris is the Premiership Chief Executive!! -
Cooper Rushen has signed for Kings Lynn and Poole.
-
Isn't his final Edinburgh GSA in 2024 relevant?
-
Maybe with MF back at the helm,Beau Bailey may have a rethink?!😝
-
Just Roll with it and Don't look back in Anger.😂
-
Did the Bates' not say that their reasons for 'stepping away' originally were due to the pressure of other work issues, and that the Tigers were in a 'healthy financial position'?
-
That'll put a pause on his Premiership club discussions...............😜
-
With only 5 teams, you'll likely find out a lot earlier than October!!!😆 PS. What about Rich Lawson for the Witches?
-
Championship fixtures were not yet received as of Saturday 10th January!!
-
Shock! Horror!?
-
I wish Lemo would hurry up and announce Zach Cook! His visa needs sorting...!😉
-
So it seems that Ipswich may field a decent 1-7 after all.😉

Another Poole Speedway article in the Echo online today with Matt Ford (more coverage than Semenyo!) stating that any discussion about a 'one league set-up' for 2027 should start NOW, including clarity on likely rider costs and any TV/broadcast contract. Its no good leaving it til August/Sept when many clubs have started their team-building for the next season. He has confirmed once again that Poole will NOT go 'up'(?!) into the Premiership within the present structure and fixed race nights!
-
Matt said that everything is fine for at least 2026 and 2027, probably longer. The discussions with the Council have already identified some alternative site options ,with Matt and Danny having a 'preferred' track site within the bcp council boundary.
-
If you read the whole article, it confirms that Poole Stadium is owned by BCP Council and only leased to G.I.. As Matt Ford - who returns to live back in Poole from France on a permanent basis - states he is in constant discussion over the longer term future of Poole Pirates with Clark Osborne and the Council, the latter wanting Poole Speedway (as the 2nd largest supported club in the area after AFCB) to remain in the Town. Alternative sites are being looked at for the longer term while Pirates remain at the stadium on an ongoing year-to-year rental basis. If anything else more specific is offered at this evening's Partner/Sponsor gathering, I'll report back............!
