That's Matt's/Danny's usual plan and its still 3 weeks away. As for the timing of the announcements, they will be seeking to avoid AFCB fixtures to ensure maximum coverage of each announcement in the local/regional media. So plenty of time to stagger the announcements and avoid any last-minute 'rushen' around!!😃

So it sounds as though there WILL be a Prem and a Championship in 2026. The Prem format may well be a little different to what Prem fans are used to as they prepare for something new/different in 2027, Those Riders who maybe aren't going to get a double up/down place in 2026 are already looking abroad in oredr to hedge their bets for 2026 and/or 2027 and beyond. Stewart Dickson seems to think that the aim - or at least the initial discussion - for 2027 is a 6-team Prem and 8-team Championship. Meantime the Championship continue to build and announce their 2026 teams with the streaming support of BSN.
