  1. Just taking it from the Poole website re 4th place to Poole reserve Ben Cook. Maybe it meant Cook 4th re the number of points scored ie Jack 15; Brady got 14 points.........?!
  2. Well done to Poole reserve Ben Cook who finished 4th top scorer (inc.engine failure) in the NSW Championships with 12 points behind Poole assets Jack Holder (15) and Brady Kurtz (14).
  3. Well done to Jack Holder winning the NSW Championship title.
  4. Well done to Brady, 2nd behind Jack Holder in the NSW State title.
  5. Had my Oxford jab yesterday - all good - and was told to expect the appointment for the 2nd jab after Easter!
  6. Just for clarity Poole stadium and Swindon are different in that Poole Stadium is owned by the Council and currently leased to Stadia UK who are also running the car park and the nursery under the 'old' main grandstand. They have stopped greyhounds permanently though!!
  7. Matt Ford was asked about this proposal and said on twitter that it was about 4 years old, which was before the developer fell foul of the local plod on more than one occasion!!
  8. It does say that, but no worries you have got Lewis Bridger!!!
  9. According to this week's Speedway Star, Bjarne was also approached to join Kings Lynn, but chose Peterborough as he prefers the track there.
  10. No planning application yet and I haven't seen the Council requesting expressions of interest. It appears that the one director of the company has a very chequered past. Unless of course he is part of Matt Ford's 'consortium' to take on the whole stadium?!
  11. Suggest you pose that question in the international section.
  12. If Hans is in the Polish 2nd division (albeit for a team based in Latvia), the rule still applies that he can only do 2 other leagues
  13. Poole website wishing Zane Happy Birthday today and saying 'we look forward to seeing you on track soon'! ...and Poole confirm that Josh MacDonald will miss out on a team place in 2021.
  14. Is this a real official list as there is no official BSPL/SCB logo to be seen? Or is it simply someone's attempt for further debate/argument/negativity?
  15. Notwithstanding that the traditional programme sales and advertising revenue are a vital income to many clubs - especially those that don't own their own tracks - as they only have turnstile sales, advertising and sponsorship monies to cover their costs. I'm not sure that charging for an app would be very economical? I'm all for new technology but only if it can be viable.
  16. The difficulty the Prem teams have had is with the rider changes at every club. When the full 1-7s are confirmed then each club can accept their draft fixture list or suggest any changes due to rider availability and/or fixture clashes ie foreign meetings/internationals/U.21s etc.
  17. Most speedway tracks/stadia have a maximum capacity agreed by the H&S Executive. In most cases I would suggest an attendance anywhere between 25% and 50% of capacity would be sufficient for most meetings - except perhaps Bank Holiday meetings which usually attract bigger than usual crowds.
  18. So what is happening with Nicolai Klindt? Despite recent articles/interviews where he 'hoped' to fulfill his Ipswich commitments, he has nevertheless got a team place in Poland, Sweden and Denmark. With today's announcement that he is also back in the Danish S.O.N. squad I doubt he will want to p!$$ off his home federation nor give up lucrative opportunities in Poland and Sweden. Having said all that, he does live in this country so any travelling abroad will also be a challenge............?!
  19. Maybe just an investigation into how the FIM today published the draft list??!! Albeit Somerset's fixtures are still included!!
  20. Very quiet from the Glasgow promotion after their pleas to stay as they were. Are they going to run in 2021?
  21. Speedway Star interview with Anders today states he has already got a Prem and Champ place sorted for 2021. In any case he finished in Somerset's top 5 in 2019 on a 4.38 average so even with the 2.5% discount he has an average higher than either Keleher or Cook so couldn't ride at 7, could he?
  22. Brady is itching to come over according to the Speedway Star today.
  23. Of course the Daily Star will publish Speedway news if its newsworthy - their Speedway correspondent is Peter Oakes!!!
  24. I think in Adam's case, if things didn't work out abroad, Poole would have him back if the points limit allowed. He has several Poole-based sponsors!!
