  1. Good move for the club with Lee Kilby. I confess I was thinking from previous posts that Eastbourne were already 'the dogs..........'!!
  2. Absolutely no problem with you having your opinion. I just disagree with some of it. Especially reading the report of the meeting and Zane's own comments. He won the G and F finals and had mechanical failure in E final - all 3 minutes apart and all after hitting the fence and having a starting infringement earlier in the meeting Other than last Saturday's meeting what other 'reports/results' of Zane Keleher have you studied? As for Ben Cook (who with Zach spent a fair chunk of 2019 over here at Middlo's), he outscored several 'senior' riders the week before!! Brother Zach was also on the way to Plymouth once Somerset made their announcement.
  3. You seem to be forgetting that Poole's main aim for this season (as it would have been in 2020) is to recoup some financial stability for the club after what happened in 2019!! Zane and Ben have been recommended by Matt's Aussie contacts so lets wait to see them on track before criticising them from afar! As far as Zane's performance in Saturday's meeting is concerned we don't know any of the circumstances.
  4. So Sheffield now contest one of the first 3 Premiership meetings at Belle Vue on 17th May.
  5. So Belle Vue now have one of three opening fixtures on 17th May
  6. BSPL fixture list now updated to commence 17th May.
  7. Aren't the rules and regs mainly for the promoters, officials and then the riders in any case? Yes its fun - and sometimes very frustrating - for fans but the season doesn't start for another 3 months or so!! Any rule change always prompts more negativity so maybe they simply keep things close to their chest until the SCB formally approves and makes them public - usually about 1 month prior to season start.
  8. All based on the data position every 5 weeks!! So things dates could change either way at any of the 5-week intervals from now (Feb 22nd)
  9. In the Championship its only Glasgow that come close to that average £20 I believe?!. Poole announced a reduction from £18 to £17 when they decided to go Championship, so assume that will remain the Adult price for 2021, bearing in mind some have already paid for their season ticket passes based on that price.
  10. He was listed to ride in the Darcy Ward North Brisbane Masters meeting last Saturday?!
  11. ..or even the 26th May!!!! Edit: In the updated fixture list Poole now have a 'reserved' date on 19th May. All fixtures before 17th May now rescheduled.
  12. Every venue will have a maximum capacity set by the Health & Safety exec. Clubs will know exactly what that is and plan accordingly. So pleased that Poole have not scheduled any home meetings til end May - the only question being will any of their 3 scheduled early May away meetings be able to take place?
  13. Zach Cook confirmed - probably lodging with brother Ben (Poole) at Middlo's Baillie House?!
  14. Isn't Crumpie in it too? Darcy Ward's first meeting as Promoter. Stream commentary by Darcy and Davey Watt!
  15. Poole taking the cautious approach and not scheduling their first Home competitive meeting til end May. Maybe a couple of 'challenges if rules allow, with fans..
  16. He'll probably be at Middlo's. If not Matt Ford will probably sort something out for him. They are great buddies after all!!
  17. Yes sorry I phrased that a bit wrongly. I wonder if the 4H/4A will change in what in effect will be a curtailed season. Also being new to the Championship do Cup and League scores both count or is it just League?
  18. It was done geographically to cut down on too much travelling!! Winners meet Eastie or Kent!
  19. There will probably be an announcement that for Team Building purposes (and to assist Plymouth in tracking a reasonable team) the maximum Championship rider average will be 12.00 The actual (converted) average will probably be used in the rolling averages calculation once enough fixtures have been completed. Where theres a will theres a way!!!!!
  20. Plymouth v Poole home and away in round one of the KO Cup.
  21. Unless you get a circuit that riders describe as 'smallish but rides like a big track'?! Anyway Plymouth v Poole in round one of the Championship KO Cup (2 legs) - winners to meet Eagles or Kings in Quarter final.
