Good luck to the Pirates today. With Middlo and several riders travelling up yesterday, it should be a good close meeting.

I think its more a case of people having weekend jobs in clubs, bars, restaurants etc.

As long as the visa situation can be sorted then I reckon there will be at least 3 new Aussie lads to UK racing!!!! NB. with most fans raving about young Mr Hellstrom-Bangs, I see his interview in the Star this week reckons he'll be doing Poland/Sweden/Denmark in 2022, with the aim to do UK in 2-3 years time!!

Depending on the weather forecast next week I suppose Wednesday 27th could always become a double-header? But all things being equal I would think any combination of Fri/Sat/Sun would be chosen for the play-off final legs subject to the availability of Stadium staff at Poole?!

One big issue was that all riders wanted to get paid at Polish Extraliga rates which simply could not be afforded in every country. Aside from that you also had the problem of Riders in more than one team! Who gets priority etc?

Give 'em a chance - they don't take over the contract til November 1st!!!

No its not Friday. As I said any day/time is subject to having the necessary staffing in any case.

All subject to stadium staffing availability of course!!!! As a matter of interest many fans are also AFC Bournemouth supporters and they are live on Sky at 8pm on Saturday 30th!

This wasn't a moan. I wasn't unhappy or complaining. It was a great effort by Team GB with some memorable photographs.

You could be right but Saturdays have a lot of competing activities/entertainment so could well affect the attendance?

A speedy recovery for Tai hopefully, but for me it was brilliant to have the group Team GB photographs without tattoos!! (Just a personal view )

More worrying news in this week's Speedway Star about the current state of Swedish Speedway with average attendance in the Elite league down to 1068 (including the play-offs) and even worse in the Allsvenskan league. Report states that the 'expensive top riders' cannot be afforded anymore and big changes will have to be made over the winter!!
