  1. When I used to run home/direct delivery services way back, all the deliverers had a printed out list of customer addresses rather than having to scrawl anything on the item!. Deliverers were also instructed to push the item all the way through the letter box and not leave it 'sticking out'!
  2. Aside from the issue of the Star getting wet when left in the letter box, there could also be an issue if you are in a block of flats with a communal letter box!! Unaddressed mail/magazines could go missing.......?!
  3. Mine arrived as usual this morning via Royal Mail with the rest of my mail.
  4. All team line-ups need to be approved by BSPL before they are officially 'declared'! At the moment all line-ups are simply 'announced'!
  5. Some clubs are clearly waiting on further Govt confirmation of attendances and social distancing regs allowed at their respective stadia bearing in mind the varying stadium capacities at all clubs. BTW - As a matter of interest what was the Eagles Adult pricing in 2019 compared to what is stated for 2021?
  6. Not according to the statement on SpeedwayGB. The initial 'Winter' fund was loans but it appears the new 'Summer' Sports fund isn't - unless I 've read it wrong? The BSPL have made the case for financial help to Sport England and DCMS which has been acknowledged. Now its up to individual clubs to put their case to the official panel.
  7. As a matter of interest what was the Eagles Adult pricing in 2019 compared to what is stated for 2021?
  8. He'll be alright for Danish bacon sarnies and the occasional Cornish pasty though!!!
  9. So its now confirmed that speedway clubs do qualify to apply for some of the Govts 'Elite Summer Sports' fund following successful liaison between BSPL and Sport England. Well done to the BSPL Officers. According to SpeedwayGB some clubs have already submitted their applications!
  10. Full 2021 Admission and Season Tickets info coming soon!
  11. So nice to see some of the usual BSF BS still going strong!!
  12. Poole's 'Rising Star' Danyon Hume is looking for some local sponsorship before his kevlars go into production. His request has been shared in various Facebook groups.
  13. Could slot in a number of away meetings first?! At least the Tigers have updated their website, which also gives a clue as to their intentions for 2021.
  14. Surely - a bit like the Govt PPE contracts - it'll be a case of who you know not what you know!!?
  15. Maybe if there is any money it will be left to the Parliamentary Group to decide how it is allocated?
  16. Thats exactly what he stated in the Speedway Star interview!
  17. Hypothetically, If there is to be any Govt funding, why would it be assumed that it would go to the BSPL rather than say the SCB or ACU?
  18. As far as Goret is concerned I'm sure a quiet word and a brown envelope to Sarkozy will do the trick!!
  19. Well at least Danny Ford is much more confident than you seem to be. New sponsorship/partnership packages announced today via the club website www.poole-speedway.com
  20. I wish they would update their website - its dreadfully out of date!!!
  21. I was watching the Holyrood Committee with Salmond today. I found it rivetting viewing all afternoon (yes, sad I know!). Salmond certainly came across very well and clearly has lots of documentary evidence to support his opinions - He finished the session by 'suggesting' to the committee that they officially request all the documents that the Crown Office are holding back under threat of legal action!!! Where theres smoke theres fire.......... Wee Jimmy Krankie gets interviewed next Wednesday - which I guess will clash with Rishi's Budget?!!
  22. Is it definite that Bjarne will start on his 2016 CMA of 6.91? I find that difficult to believe..........!
