  1. Further fixture updates on the Poole website due to Covid and/or clashes with Euro2020. eg Kent v Pirates not now on 29th June but postponed to July 27th.
  2. They announced during the Panthers thrashing of Wolves on Monday that their next televised meeting will be in 2 weeks ie 28th June - Ippo v Wolves I think
  3. He's been having enough trouble turning the bike let alone turning the clock back!!
  4. Well he's obviously got enough in his pot to take out a 10-year lease on the whole stadium!
  5. Tickets for this meeting are on sale now from the Pirates website/Twitter initially only selling to 4+ ( then later on 2+ and then singles)
  6. The interview on BBC Radio Oxford suggests once he's settled in and up and running - plus hopefully speedway also returning - he wants to negotiate the purchase from Galliard Homes.
  7. Nice to see 2 Pirate guests top-scoring for each side. Augers well for the 29/30th fixtures!!
  8. Tickets on sale from tomorrow for home meeting v Kent on 30 th June. Initial bookings for 4+
  9. Danny quoted on BBC Solent today that "we may have to postpone more HOME fixtures until the restrictions are lifted"!
  10. ....except it gives the opportunity for a further 9 million vaccinations!! However I don't see why those vaccs couldn.t be done anyway if step 4 was adhered to?
  11. Lets hope the Danish riders aren't too affected by what happened at the weekend to their countrymen Eriksen and NKI?!
  12. Great post - thoroughly agree. Great music from the new DJ (although some of my 'younger' group weren't to impressed with the music choices!)
  13. So is the Plymouth website. There was an attempt to get the reverse fixture for the following night ie 23rd, but Poole won't run with restricted capacity and social distancing as per their home meeting v Berwick!!
  14. Because its a Govt 'trial' event - or a 'test' event if you will!!
  15. Well after Birmingham's season suspension until July 1st earliest, Poole have no planned fixtures til 29th June. Whether that means there may still be a club announcement?.....
  16. Hans was only able to do the meeting because he has not taken part in the Danish Individual Championship on Wednesday. Other Wednesdays would bring clashes with Danish League meetings as well as any travelling issues.
  17. Its not as if Wolves riders aren't UK based? Those that travel in and out are solely down to foreign meeting requirements. Although with Bacon's retirement a replacement must be found if fixtures continue.
  18. It also depends on who the stadium landlords are and whether they want the sport to continue or prefer to develop it for housing?!
  19. Plymouth nor any other club (except Swindon) have to deal with Gaming International!! Matt won't be able to sustain big financial losses for long under these regulations. GI seem happy to let the stadium close - they still get substantial income from the car/lorry park - force the speedway to close and then persuade the Council that they can't make it pay!!
  20. No club will be able to sustain this if it continues after 21st. These draconian measures insisted on by the Stadium landlords, not the Council or the club, are really putting the pressure on!!
  21. The meeting preview reckons he may only miss 2 or 3 meetings!!
  22. No surprise if true. His main sponsor - Meridian Lifts - is also sponsoring the meeting!!! Personally I would have Nick Morris at the moment. He's flying at number 1 for Leicester and he knows the Poole track.
