  1. Keeping Stefan at 4 would be my preference as it gives us a bit of strength in heat 14 when a meeting is close - not that that has been the case too often with the exception of Eastie away.
  2. Its the advantage of Garry May being in the Poole pits most weeks.
  3. Don't clubs have to demonstrate a certain level of financial assets (including a bond and rider assets) before being accepted into the BSPL. I recall several years ago that Poole 'loaned' an asset to Somerset so that the Rebels met the BSPA criteria!
  4. A big thank you to our Speedway Multi-national liasion and support Officer for this thoughtful update!
  5. He's was on his way home this morning with bad bruising of ribs and neck - bad enough but nothing worse and no breaks, thank goodness!!
  6. Well if it is to be Zaine Kennedy, unless he's already in the UK he'll miss the Plymouth meeting on 13th due to having to hole up in a hotel for 14 days in quarantine!? As for Ben Cook - yes he has the benefit not only being with his brother Zach at Middlo's but also the added experience of Brady Kurtz and occasionally one or both of the Holders - including helping in the pits.
  7. A bit of dissent bubbling in the pits apparently - MF didn't want it to become a big issue for other riders/mechanics!!
  8. So although the rumours were flying last evening about a 'Czech', there is also another Aussie with an average that fits from 2019 - not sure if he's come over on the off-chance or he's waiting for a call? Before the season started there were several that said Poole had gone for the wrong ZK!!!!!! However with the finances as they are I'm sure Matt won't pay out what he doesn't have coming in?
  9. Maybe Poole released him for other reasons than just his track performance? Matt Ford's statement about not wanting him as a club asset speaks volumes imo!! And theres me thinking Robert Lambert was the 'ruthless' one??!
  10. Poole Speedway have always (usually) done a heat by heat twitter update, whether the meeting is streamed/videoed or televised.
  11. 90% of available tickets now sold!! Last home meeting until late July (Home v Glasgow July 14 now postponed)>
  12. Website design/layout is such a subjective topic. What is great for one is rubbish for another.
  13. Online tickets now 75% sold!! Single tickets available for advance online purchase from 7pm this evening - Monday.
  14. Its the same at Poole with the start/finish line no longer in line with the ref's box.
  15. Tickets already 50% sold - tickets for 2+ bookings go on sale later this week on Thursday evening.
  16. Just riding for his local club in Sweden to help them out!
  17. When do Plymouth put their Tuesday meeting preview up on their website/facebook etc?? I thought it was usually sooner than Sunday?!
  18. Any news on who is replacing Crump against Poole?
  19. 'Och Aye Captain Mainwaring - We're all doomed'!!
  20. Nice piece on Meridian News today too!
  21. Not much interest so far then Steve?! Do you reckon its the opposition or something else...........?
