  1. My post did say from September 1st so any changes in riding order effective for Poole's away meeting at Birmingham. The only thinking being discussed in the crowd last week was if Worrall goes to number 1 (with Nielsen going to 2 to keep their successful partnership, unless Cook's average gets to higher than Stefan's?)
  2. Brennan is not listed in the Diamonds team. r/r at 2 and Freeman at 6
  3. Further to Lisa's reply the car park is £2.50 cash only, payable at the kiosk on entry. The car park is used as a hospital overflow car park during the day so is heavily used during the day until shifts change. On a weekday it usually begins to clear of hospital staff between 5.15 and 6.15pm. I usually arrive around 6 pm and park very easily with gates/turnstiles opening from 6.30pm. There are usually queues at both sets of entry. Not sure yet what is happening for the Brum meeting on Bank Holiday Sunday with a 5pm start? I expect they will announce more on Wednesday. Hope this helps
  4. The cut-off for signing riders is 28th August effective 31st August!
  5. You should be able to grab seats in the grandstand if you are in before 7pm. Alternatively you can stand pretty much anywhere from in front of the grandstand (although depending on how big your kids are they may not see everything) to around all 4 bends or sitting/standing in the glass stand (if you don't mind viewing behind glass??!) Incidentally the stadium car park costs £2.50 per vehicle. Also currently there are restrictions on bar and food availability!
  6. Write to Gaming International at Swindon Stadium - you never know you may get a reply?!
  7. The cut-off for September 1st averages is Monday next (23rd). I wonder if there could be a change in rider order?
  8. Another thought - for those clubs likely to be in the play-offs and well advanced with their fixtures, they won't want to finish those fixtures too quickly and then have a long (no fixture) wait to the play-offs, whilst other play-off contenders are keeping race-fit right up to the deadline.
  9. Yes but there will also be a few non-european riders looking for some end of season meetings.
  10. I'm pretty sure that for any Northern leg of the play-offs both Middlo and Havvy will be in attendance - they are both best buddies.
  11. The Poole track has been superb so far this season - imo the best its been for several seasons - up until Wednesday when it was pretty poor and overly slick. The dust upto heat 4 was bad but as others have said the watering before heat 5 and every 4 heats thereafter kept it down.
  12. Another match postponed tonight due to poor forecast - at Leicester!!
  13. The price and production of matchday programmes depends on each individual club's revenue opportunities. Some clubs only have revenue from admissions, programmes, advertising and sponsorship. No food, beverage or parking revenue as in Poole. Just a point about Rory - he's not getting any younger and last night was his 4th meeting in 5 days as well as getting ready to move back to Oz.
  14. So do they not stream or produce dvds then? Don't see the point otherwise?
  15. Don't forget that many of the overseas league fixtures are coming to an end so some riders not involved in play-offs abroad may well be up for a few meetings?! Of course that will apply to any club that can make a change and can afford it!
  16. So there was a heat from the Redcar v Plymouth meeting on the SGB site!! Who did that?
  17. Has anyone fallen on their sword yet at the 'Premiership Champion contenders', to quote a well known phrase or saying from the start of the season?
  18. I know of at least one promoter that put forward the "one league with teams of 5 riders (as Denmark)" proposal for this current season, although voted down at the time, I won't be surprised if it surfaces again at the November AGM?!
  19. Ben Cook won his 2 rides when guesting at Redcar before getting injured.
  20. Thats because both are Wednesday tracks and Poole have a home meeting on Friday 3rd September to allow for Brum to retain their Wednesday. Good co-operation between the clubs.
  21. Sorry. My source told me 6 rides. I'll have words with him when he gets back from the IOW later!!!
  22. Good of Lee Kilby to 'step up' for the video, but apart from saying 'a lot of rumours are not accurate', he didn't actually say anything else relevant other than 'talks are continuing'!
  23. So Bjarne will be the Gladiators number 1 on Tuesday v Brummies with Crumpy's average dropping from 12.00 to 6.98 (Yes 6.98!). I wonder if Plymouth will be considering any rider changes before the 28/8 cut-off??
