  1. I stand corrected but haven't seen it confirmed anywhere officially.
  2. OK then his average must be between 5.00 and 5.31 less 2.5% as all his qualifying scores were completed by 23rd September. which means his average is still over 5.00.
  3. I'm sure its the Prem that is not so sure about him!!
  4. I don't see how that can be accurate with only 3 further qualifying KO Cup scores after the 23rd September cut-off for October averages (BSPL Issue 23)? Play-off scores don't count towards the CMA unless thats changed. Of course if 4,88 is the true average that bodes well for Danyon staying at Poole.
  5. His average was higher than Basso's 5 and less than Cook's 5.31. I believe it was around 5.16 so for 2022 would be around 5.03 (5.16 less 2.5%)
  6. Good to see BWD's return making the national sports pages today!
  7. Good to see Oxford's return has made a couple of the national 'red tops' sports pages!
  8. Why would club promoters (ie the BSPL) vote for something that 'obviously isn't really working'? If as is often claimed, they only have 'self-interest' at heart then surely it follows that they must - in the main - be relatively happy with finances, attendances and the status quo?!
  9. Not sure that all your rider averages will be correct as BSPL are yet to produce the final 2021 listing, with all Eastbourne fixture scores being deducted or increased?
  10. Kevin Boothby is now the stadium 'owner' with a ten-year lease to re-open the stadium and make it a fully operational, 24/7 Leisure and Sports facility. He is a greyhound track owner at Henlow(?) and one other. Also had involvement at Towcester racecourse - but not sure what the situation there is now?
  11. If they are sensible they will study their end-of-season finances with a fine tooth comb before deciding to go Premiership in 2023!!
  12. Its his busiest time of the year coming up in December, isn't it??
  13. Honest question - is it confirmed that Fricke is returning to UK/Belle Vue racing?
  14. Had a superb evening with fellow Poole sponsors, friends, volunteers, Promoters, Team Manager and 2 riders at the local curry house last night! No news to be announced yet - other than confirmation that on paper the preferred 1-7 for 2022 had now changed twice!!!
  15. The 'traditional' AGM has always been 2-3 days. This year its only to be a 'one-day' rubber-stamping exercise of what has been already agreed over the Zoom meetings and to give Brummies more time. Most company AGM's have a very strict agenda and are usually over and done with in a couple of hours at most!
  16. Its the greyhound guy that has bought the stadium including the speedway!!
  17. I can't see Douglas going anywhere near a Fri/Sat/Sun track
  18. Some other clubs have indicated the points limit to be 42 for the full 1-7, with '2021 rising stars' having their true average (less the 2.5% British discount) I would guess (and it really is a guess) that the 2 riders who have 'agreed terms for 2022' are the Cook brothers! This may or may not be confirmed later today................
  19. I'm sure Poole sponsors Trethowans Solicitors are well on the case.
  20. Probably because it was all agreed at the pre-AGM 'Zoom' meeting to allow clubs to begin to formulate their teams (without Rising Stars?!) but will not be confirmed or 'rubber-stamped' and announced until the one-day AGM later.
