There are quite a few greyhound stadia that are not in the 'top echelons' of the greyhound world that don't have anything else going on. eg. the new Oxford Stadium leaseholder has interest in other dog stadia! Not sure whether they are suited to adding a speedway track/pits etc or whether they have hosted speedway previously? I know that Hove in Sussex have a greyhound stadium but that may be deemed too close to Arlington?!

If those GSAs are accurate then in Poole's case how was Basso on the Gasso (5.00) at reserve and Hume (4.98) in the 1-5?

Those houses were backing onto the pits before racing stopped, which is why the pits are being re-located!

Most of those houses were there before Swindon stopped racing! The pits are to be relocated in any case as is the main grandstand with acoustic sound proofing walls to be erected. Glass half-full thats me!

They are still running greyhounds there aren't they? As far as speedway is concerned, its all looking good imo. Pits are being re-located. Main stand (series of portakabin-type units) will be on the old back straight as per the plans. Acoustic sound-proofing barrier walls to be erected!
