Thanks Lisa - I thought that was apparent from Poole's fixture list. Good news on the track is that fresh shale is due to be laid before the next home meeting on 11th May!!

Have to agree the track was not upto recent standard being far too slick and dusty from early on. Brummies kept it reasonable upto mid meeting then after a succession of 3-3s the Pirates banged in 5-1s in heats 13 and 15 to finish things off. Stevie's last meeting at 1 until Danny takes over in May at least and Steve moves to 3 with Richard Lawson to 5 according to Steve's interview when receiving his Rider of the Night award.

A quick note for anyone travelling from the East (Bournemouth and beyond) to Poole Stadium this evening - Canford Way and Dorset Way around the Mannings Heath roundabout and Tower Park areas are CLOSED due to planned resurfacing. Diversions are in place but its very congested at peak times. PS. The May Greensheets are out with Captain Danny King moving to Number 1 from 3rd May.

How have Plymouth managed to name Richard Lawson to guest again tonight having used him to guest last Tuesday as well? I haven't checked the 2022 SCB rules but is there no longer an 8-day ruling?? Or is it a BSPL sympathy rule? EDIT just checked and its ok when replacing the number 1!! (Eddie a number 1 - who would have thought it?)
