Tom has done magnificently but I am just a little bit concerned that he may have a bit of burn out come the business end of the season. Hope not but its happened before.

Been there, done it, lost money. Unfortunately many clubs don't have the luxury of a Tru7 Group main sponsor. Yes the turbo twins were great to watch as are lawson, Brennan and the Cooks. Race times are no better, no worse. And the crowds keep coming...

Excellent post. Thank you Mike0310. Last nights heat 5 with Bomber recording the fastest time of the season by an away rider, Richard Lawson's faultless 15 pt max, plus Ben Cook's last to 2nd in heat 15 against Bomber and Ivacic were worth the money alone!

I guess it also saves having to travel from Edinburgh on 23rd to Plymouth on 24th!!

You might be surprised to know quite a few fans and commercial partners travel from much further away than just within the B'mth/poole conurbation.

Ah yes I see the GSAs have been updated today. So Zach only 0.21 lower than Pawlicki.

The other benefit that Poole has by being continually successful at their chosen level is excellent media coverage, (as well as excellent team building skills)! Whether tv, radio, newspapers(print and online), reel videos or other social platforms they maintain their presence in the wider public eye. It doesn't just happen, it needs to be continually worked at and Danny Ford, his team and other committed individuals work very hard at it. There will always be critics, but Poole are accumulating stacks of positive pr, huge crowds and commercial support - just in case they need it if/when the future of the stadium becomes a 'live' topic!

So Scottie guests for Premiership Ipswich at no.1 tonight, then guests for Glasgow on Friday! And they say racings better in the Prem?!

Anders and Kyle Newman were in Poole's original proposed 1-7 until Tom Brennan made himself available in a phone call to the Ford's, which changed everything for the better it seems.

We had the first leg of the ko cup. Next Weds is league! Incidentally Tom Brennan took a few after meeting Laps on Hagon's machine and looked as fast as in the meeting itself. Sam is still a bit bruised from his crash a couple of weeks ago but needs to get his set ups correct ( hey Mr Dugard) Loved Ben Cook's pass from last to 2nd in heat 15. Boom.

Surely depends on how you define quality?! The quality of racing in NDL can be just as enthralling and entertaining without any star names. But as said previously, each to their own. End.
