So Cookie's been tagged in the Glasgow line-up for the Plymouth meeting on Tuesday subject to how he feels, so should be OK for Wednesday in that case?!

So Plymouth Guests v Glasgow Guests on Tuesday then?!

I'm actually gonna watch the stream of this meeting - if only to watch our skipper guesting and to keep a tag on Cookie in the pits!!

Why would Poole not run in 2023. They already have agreement in place for 2023. Any plans the Council may or may not have will not be decided until at least Winter 2024 at the very earliest - and that was the case even before the successful visit to Wednesday's meeting at which they were all very impressed.

In theory Poole could do any day of the week. The main problem with weekend meetings is getting stadium staff in. When GI stopped greyhounds they laid off the majority of staff, many of whom have now got other hospitality/ security/H&S jobs elsewhere especially at weekends in clubs and hotels etc.

So Leicester are the first to complete their League fixtures yet can't find earlier dates for other outstanding meetings?!

I think the number 6 would be nominated as the reserve - able to take his own programmed rides and any others as a reserve change at TM's discretion

Unofficially from Middlo on Piratecast live last night, 6-man teams over 18 heat format for each of 3 legs. Final regs still awaited as are the dates to be discussed and agreed by the 3 clubs involved.

Can't imagine Steve wanting to risk his shoulder on Plymouth's tight track?! Richard , Danny or either Cook - no problem. Even Nathan for his mate McGurk if he's still injured.

Excellent summary comments Turnip. Brilliant meeting in the end despite losing Stevie Worrall in his 2nd ride. Ben Cook, Danny King, Steve Lawson, Matt and Danny Ford and every backroom helper all worked their proverbials off to get last night's important meeting on with great racing, the biggest crowd for some considerable time (and thats saying nothing about Poole's usual big crowds) and a terrific PR exercise for the Council and the longer term future of Poole Stadium and the Pirates. As the posters said "POOLE NEEDS SPEEDWAY"

I'm fully aware of that but it doesn't detract from the fact that if Riss was fit to race, no way would he have been at 2!! No real complaint from me. Clever team management as i said. Just an observation about heat 8.

What is Oxfords maximum allowed attendance at the moment? Earlier in the season it was restricted to 2000 due to H&S.
