  1. So what are the other activities on at the Coliseum on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season?
  2. Poole were going to use Eddie Kennett, but apparently he's still unfit to ride??!!
  3. Clubs wanting to delay the inevitable is definitely to be frowned upon, BUT Play-Offs take precedence.!!
  4. So this fixture has been announced. No idea on team line-ups as yet, other than the usual 1-7s for both, but may as well get things started. Poole still unsure whether Steve Worrall will be fit or r/r. Thoughts anyone?
  5. I don't disagree with an independent Chairperson, but in all honesty who is there that knows sufficiently about the speedway business but doesn't have any allegiance to any club? Answers on the back of a postage stamp please......
  6. So with Brummies due to hold the Alan Grahame meeting on Wednesday, they are announcing their line-ups tomorrow (Sunday) morning which should clarify who might be available as a guest at Poole. Some have mentioned Aarnio, but reports suggest his injuries have ended his season. Summers may have retired - again! Sedgeman probably contracted to appear at Perry Bar. Nicholls is odds on to guest for Kennett (+5%) on Tuesday but can't on Wednesday. Plymouth due to announce their Tuesday line-up on Monday morning.
  7. Basso has got a Polish team place secured for 2023 so it'll be interesting to see how important the UK is to him?
  8. Yes. Plymouth v Poole next Tuesday 6th subject to weather.
  9. Jordan Jenkins Racing nodrSposteh1a721m17312gu12ct9f4ltil1f9t59agc9i0f5la9l8uhl236 · | RACEDAY And I'm back! BIG cup match against Edinburgh and only 4 points down from the 1st leg. Up in the main body of the team tonight riding at number
  10. Not sure Richard Lawson should be guesting as Poole are still possible opponents if Redcar get through?!
  11. No nods, winks or emojis from my previous post. People are reading far too much into this, unless they know anything different......? He had a big off with Charles Wright at Redcar didn't he, on his racing return from other earlier injuries. There's been no update on his injury situation anywhere that I've seen so maybe they are still investigating the extent of his injuries? Perhaps as L-C suggested, 'under observation' would have been better phraseology?! Anyway a bit longer to recover as the long trip to Plymouth next Tuesday is postponed to a later date.
  12. Plymouth v Poole Play-off Q/F 1st leg now scheduled for next Tuesday 6th September instead of the Glasgow league fixture -ON THE INSTRUCTIONS OF BSPL as Play-offs take precedence.
  13. Not so curiously, Plymouth have been instructed by BSPL to host Poole on Tuesday 6th September in the first leg Q/F, with the remaining fixture v Glasgow to be rearranged later. (See Plymouth website) Play-offs take precedence.
  14. To be fair as supposedly one of the more 'progressive' and 'professional' clubs their website and social media leave a lot to be desired.
  15. Still under investigation I believe...........!
  16. And once a rider has guested for one club in the play-offs, he can't guest for any other play-off club, can he?
  17. I hope Lawson has solved his machinery issues that he experienced at Poole last night - unless he was testing stuff as well as dropping a chain on the start line!!!
  18. I see the 13th September is reserved for play-offs in the Gladiators fixture list but I expect Plymouth are waiting to see what guests might be available before confirming. At least Hans' 9-day concussion absence will be over by then, as he's going so well at the Coliseum at the moment!
  19. Great 18 point maximum for Bomber Harris at Middlo's Testimonial. So much quicker than anyone else including Doyle and Holder and Nicholls
  20. Garry May didnt think it was meaningless. He took a lap as a former Poole rider.
  21. Not forgetting some great video messages from Darcy, Davey,Bjarne, Krysztov Cegelski and Kacper Woryna. Well done to Nigel (MMX Events), the Piratecast boys and all the other helpers. The Matt and Helen Ford reveal was brilliant. Also some really positive comments from the likes of Doyle, Holder, Harris and Kurtz about the Poole track surface being the best and smoothest its ever been.
