Pooles final average less the 2.5% Brit reduction was 42.28 (with Kemp on 5.20) so only .28 to lose before the 42 became 40 points. (Thomas 4.48; Newman 4.29)

Maybe if Rew had told Poole he was signing for Ippo then both clubs could have split the costs?

According to the Speedway Star this week Newman was always in Plan A with Ablitt until the points limit dropped by 2 points (and there was an issue with a certain 5 point rider!!)

As Flagrag suggested previously the suggested date for the Leicester v Poole meeting is Easter Saturday 8th April. Potentially the return at Poole would be Wednesday 12th April. Both dates are unconfirmed at the present time whilst rider availability is sought and confirmed.

Apart from Lawson and Zach Cook from the Plymouth days, which other Poole riders did he sponsor? Are they still sponsoring at Plymouth?

You are misreading my post or I've worded it wrongly. Chris Holder said he will only ride for Poole if/when they are in the Premiership! Riding for anyone else in the meantime is fine. You never know if it is to be Poole in Premiership in 2024, - and that is by no means certain - he may use this year to lower his average??
