  1. Pickerings average fits 7.05. Morris 7.37 (inc +5% at home)
  2. Team manager said on bsn that the whole team were together for a meal on Saturday night. Reported in Speedy Star last week too
  3. Any day when they are not missing riders!!! That's why they've turned down several fixtures over the past 7 weeks
  4. Justin Sedgeman. To be fair I have no issue with Steve's exclusion for 2 minutes BUT it should never have been brought back in the first place.
  5. Watching the BSN stream and there is light drizzle but a strong wind seems to be blowing it through quickly. My only other observation at the moment is 'where is the crowd' ???
  6. So has Morris been officially diagnosed with concussion as well as his lower back injury? His BSN interview when he said he was not fit to race said his head was 'spinning'!!
  7. Says the so-called Brummies fan getting his vitriol in on every thread he can!!
  8. At least Poole don't have Danes fencing/blocking their own guest team mates eg Flint!! Or failing to turn up after 'aggravating his injury' no doubt whilst doing commentary for Danish TV!!!? Still at least it saved Plymouth the air fares!!! Suck it up Buttercup!
  9. That won't be enough for some teams - or riders!! I thought some clubs have a 'minimum number of home fixtures ' written into their rental agreements with their landlords?!
  10. To be fair it was the mid-meeting team talk (ar$e-kicking) that stung the Pirates into their second half blitz. In all honesty I've not seen the Pirates quite so dominant against a top team (Lions 3 heat leaders all had higher GSAs than Poole's top 3). The Cook brothers really turned it on big style - especially Ben who was really quick all night. But credit to the full 1-7 and to the Lions for their first 5 heats or so. So Redcar in the final and Pirates have beaten them home and away this season already - even with Riss!
  11. Lions kept it close to heat 6 until Ben Cook catching Howarth on the line in the race of the night. Then BOOM the Pirates went into over drive.
  12. Cant disagree with any of that except to say that both Cooks shared the sponsors Rider of the night award. Can't wait to see Ben Cook v Basso in heat 1 next week.
