Just pulled into the stadium car park which is dry under foot. One or two spits and spots on the journey over but all looking good if a little grey above. Reckon they will crack on quickly tonight. As this is my final meeting this season I was a little surprised to be asked by the car park attendant ' Are you not here Friday then'?!!(read into that what you wish)

Woffy has already stated that despite moving back to live in UK with his family, he will not be racing in the League!!
-
Shouldn't make any difference as he won't be on the same equipment next year!!

I believe all Prem clubs get an equal share of the Eurosport TV dosh plus an extra broadcast fee to the home side for each 'live' meeting covered. Less the cut that BSPL take for their central account!!

Jakobsen is a very shrewd first signing.

So Sheffield to announce their first 2023 signing after the meeting tonight!!

...says the Glasgow Tigers fan!!!!

Isn't it the most recent average in the league they compete in?! Not sure, maybe wrong?
-
Maybe an 'Independent' one?!

I see the BV success hasn't lasted long!!

.....and breathe! Recent history (ie 20 years or so excluding the odd one or two) has seen Poole success leading to more success no matter what league they are in. Some if not all fans have come to expect it, just as with most clubs there are fans that want to see great, close racing and some that simply want their team to rack up 5-1s consistently! You can't please everyone all the time. Forums like this one allow fans of all types and clubs to give their opinions, however biased (or baited) they may appear to others - its what forums are for. As for the 'most hated' stuff, Poole fans know that and Middlo often publicly quotes it, because every team wants to beat us. Some do and recently most don't. That may well change in the future, but rest assured Poole will still be 'in it to win it', hated or otherwise. Should be an interesting Winter.

So the 2000 and the 600 are all full paying adults? I don't think so. Plus how much sponsorship and advertising revenue do Oxford get? You really need to get down to Poole and see a big crowd. And once again no disrespect to Oxford who have done a great job. Long may it continue.
