quite right too!!

Yes but against many of the Championship heat leaders who are also in the Prem. Ben Cook would have picked up loads of Prem guest bookings if his current visa allowed it! This will change for 2023 when both Poole Cooks intend to double up! So its a matter of who gets in first, so with Louis and Ford both mates and on the BSPL Board of Directors, who knows.

Poole had probably their best attendance of the season on Wednesday, so playoffs (and finals) are certainly a financial benefit to clubs that are in them. For example Leicester will benefit from 3 coachloads of Poole fans plus many travelling independently who wouldn't necessarily all go to a normal league meeting.

The very strong rumour, especially on the back of potentially more Polish league riders becoming available is that BSPL want to make the Prem stronger ie higher points limit and Championship weaker with a lower points limit. The exact points dependant on how many clubs are declared for each league and who buys the biscuits at the AGM?!

Sheffield Pairs now at Leicester on Monday 31st October.

King and Ben Cook make a decent racing pair - as evidenced every Poole meeting!!

..but he's correct!!!! -
I find myself surprisingly agreeing with this point except Poole have completed all their League and play-off fixtures. Its leicester that haven't! As for the Howarth debacle, if it was agreed as part of his 2022 contract, the only issue for me is the rule that allows a guest - it should only be r/r imo.
