  1. The Poole coaches were not cancelled by the coach company they were cancelled by the club when the date changed again and the Friday date was announced as many fans could not travel on a work day. You are correct in stating the club have taken a financial hit as they have had to pay the coach cancellation fees.
  2. Matt Ford was back on the board until his move abroad. I was thinking more Danny Ford and Chris Louis to formulate the changes. I have no experience of the Bates other than the Lions and Tigers this season!
  3. Nobody is saying the current situation is not a complete 'balls up' - fact. But imo opinion it does absolutely nothing for the sport to continually talk it down at seemingly every opportunity no matter what thread is being duscussed. Yes we all know the situation the sport finds itself in and we can all point fingers of blame. Yes I'm a Poole fan and have been for many years (also Swindon for a few years when sponsoring a rider!) and prefer to see positives in the sport wherever possible. If that comes across as arrogant to some then apologies. Whatever people think of Poole Speedway it's a well run successful business on and off track which i will continue to 'big up' at every opportunity, with a new young promoter that with others will bring new ideas to the top table with positivity about the way forward for the sport as a whole. It may not please some but managing change never does please everyone - especially those with a glass half empty outlook. Sermon over. Have a nice day. COYP. Hopefully my flight back to UK tomorrow gets me home in time for BSN which I've already paid for.
  4. Why don't you stick to your beloved BV threads instead of casting your negative caustic and derogatory comments everywhere else!!
  5. Presumably Leicester aren't short of a few bob as they are wanting to go Premiership on an off race night next season?!
  6. Chris Holder still has his home in Dorset so it would be no surprise to see him race here again. He's stated as such. He's in the Poole pits with Jack and Brady on a regular basis. He's bound to get his average reduced as He's not in GPs and hasn't raced here for several years.
  7. At least we'll get Zach's thoughts on everything as he is interviewed live on tonight's Piratecast from 7.30pm. Watch it on you-tube.
  8. So as far as any track advantage to either team, is it only Ben and Zach Cook that have never ridden KL? Asking for a friend........
  9. Someone missed a decimal point 2.5% reduction.
  10. So both teams track their full 1-7s.as per the Lions website. Everyone is back that should be back and nobody has gone home early. As it should be. I wonder if any will be borrowing machinery? In the meantime Danny Ford is calling for the whole fixture schedule to be sorted out once and for all! www.bournemouthecho.co.uk
  11. And so this thread reaches 100 pages in a month and the fixture is still not completed. Some going even for BSF!! Hope that's not too arrogant for some posters.
  12. Such an arrogant comment from a Plymouth fan whose club had more rain-offs than guests (Not really eh?!)
  13. Bearing in mind that play off and ko Cup meetings don't count towards final averages I would have thought those published for October are the final ones!?
  14. Sad confused and bitter. As for wishing a club to close that's just plain stupid and out of order. We're quite used to the jealous, envy and hate - it comes with a fair degree of success. Ask any speedway promoter if their attendance increases when Poole visit. It's a Yes from me ... and them.
  15. Truth hurts don't it!! Keep chewing.....
  16. Not clear if you've considered the 2.5% reduction for Brit riders in 2023 team building figures
